Follow Friday- get it away!!!

Q: Which book genre do you avoid at all costs?

A: I'm an easy reader really. I'll admit it. I can get into nearly anything I'm reading and usually love it. I did find something that was so not for me this past year though. Bizarro. It's a sub category of Horror I guess? Maybe? Some horror so works for me. This one totally skeeved me out. I still don't remember how I found it but The Haunted Vagina crossed my path and apparently in a sick and twisted moment I decided I had to have this book because really how can you pass up a book called the Haunted Vagina. And a tag line of  "It's difficult to love a woman whose vagina is a gateway to the world of the dead." A supposed love story. With some great reviews mind you. Yeah. Okay. So. Not. My. Thing.

    1. Definitely a step outside the norm for me. Still glad I picked it out even if just to say it's sitting on my bookshelf. ;)

  6. lol! Yes, I probably wouldn't want to read something like the Haunted Vagina either. It's difficult with Horror, as that is a category that doesn't fuss me, yet, Anne Rice comes under Horror and I love her vampires! So I do read Horror. But possibly the 'gentler' variety.

I followed you back BTW. Thanks for following me :D
