Delicious David Gandy (A to Z)

First- Sorry all for having the word verification turned on. I turned it off ages ago but apparently it never saved. It should be off now. If not someone please let me know :)

So on to D. All I could come up with was dingoes. I don't know what it is but, like A and apples, my brain decided to stop right there and that was all I could think of. So, I sent out for help and one of the ladies jokingly said David Gandy!

Ooooh. Pretty. Topic picked :) So, a little Gandy Candy for you all (and, yeah, that always makes me smirk just a little).

Now, this man just does some impressive things with a scowl. Who woulda thought it would be so damn good!

So, I had no idea who David Gandy was (if you haven't guessed he's a model) until I read the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. If you've not read it it's an amazing Urban Fantasy/Paranormal series set in Ireland. His name kept popping up in posts about the series so off I go to look him up. And oh my word he's just the perfect Jericho Barrons! The whole dark broody, kinda mysterious, scowly thing.

I've also seen his name come up for Vishous from JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Can see that one too.

And for those of you that like the scruff free look! Thanks Tonya for posting the link to this one.

And if that wasn't delicious enough for you... his real swoon worthiness...being an ambassador for homeless pets! We love a man who cares about animals! Mmmhmmm, yes we do!

“I can now officially confirm that I have become the first ever Ambassador for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. You must all know by now how much I love animals, but especially our little (or not so little) canine friends. ” - David Gandy

We just think this is so great we'll even forgive him and the glaring blunder of picking pups over the kitties ;)

Now isn't that just the cutest picture up there. As nicely as he pulls off a scowl he can do the smiling bit just as delightfully! He even got his folks into fostering for a pup named Kim who needed a break from life at the shelter. Yeah, he's awesome! There's a nice little video clip of Battersea's and Gandy.

So, what do yall think of David Gandy? Have a hero in mind he'd be perfect for?

I think he looks a lot different when he's clean shaven. I like the scruffy look. And great blog Anna!

  6. D for decadent, delicious, and delectable! Good-looking and has a warm heart? Is he for real? My vote goes to keeping the scruff, Mr. Gandy.

Thanks for sharing, and I am looking forward to reading more of your A-Z posts!

  10. Nice Blog, this is my first time reading you.I am very familiar with David Gandy. He appears to be a talented man by virtue if his role on AWAY WE STAY (you tube). Just a little lazy with regard to ambition I say that because he is a riveting actor but he has worked his way up to world's only male supermodel and I guess he finds it easy to just pose with his God-given good looks than develop his God given acting talent. To be fair, he is an excellent writer and writes columns for GQ and Vogue UK.

    1. I take back the lazy remark. He is not lazy. It's just that everybody wants him to act and he seems reluctant. To be fair. He is allowed to live his life the way he sees fit. It's just that a majority of his fans see him playing roles. Becoming their film and literary heroes. He's the salt of the earth kind of fellow....personally, I'd like to see him mix a little pepper with all that salt.
