The Harris List of Covent Garden Ladies, that wickedly witty annual register of the city's lightskirts, was once a London tradition.  Now, as all of Europe celebrates the end of the long wars, the scheming Lord Marstoke has revived it--and transformed it into a weapon.

A List no respectable lady wishes to be on . . .

Miss Brynne Wilmott escaped the monstrous Marstoke once, with the inadvertent aide of Nathan Russell, the Duke of Aldmere, and the incredible generosity of Hestia Wright, the former courtesan pledged to help any woman in trouble.  But now Marstoke's Love List is threatening her new future--and forging her into a weapon made to destroy her friend.

The Request a certain Duke has no wish to hear . . .

The Duke of Aldmere doesn't believe in meddling.  Fate has proved that interfering in personal matters only leads to bigger trouble.  He has no wish to involve himself in Brynne Wilmott's affairs, despite her spirited beauty and damned tempting mouth.  But she's discovered that his brother is mixed up in this business as well.  Reluctantly, they agree to work together.

Their search leads them through some of London's most dangerous haunts and it quickly becomes clear that Marstoke's plans are more twisted and treasonous than anyone has suspected. Yet the danger and intrique are as nothing compared to the effect than Nathan and Brynne have on each other . . .

It's (Romance) Adventure Time...

Okay, now that all of the Moms out there have that theme song running in their head (Jake the Dog and Finn the Human!) let's talk adventure.

Have you ever reached a point in your life where you decide to change things? I reached a certain birthday and decided I needed more adventure in my life. How to get it, though? That's another matter. It took a shift in thinking that I'm still working on.

But I am working on it! I started to make wishes, take steps and plan Adventures. Adventures of all sorts, in lots of different aspects of life--even in my writing life--and I'd love to share the latest one with you.

You see, I've loved Romance since I was a teenager, swapping books and gushing over them with my Mom and Grandma. I love writing big relationships with complex and flawed characters. I also adore adventure stories, books, TV and movies like The Mummy, Indiana Jones, Thor, Game of Thrones, etc. I decided to combine them and I'm having a blast writing Romantic Adventures with big stakes and bigger sizzle, with characters that have to battle their own demons as well as outside forces and who have to work really hard to win their fabulous Happily Ever Afters.

I'm starting a new series in this fashion. The Love List is the first full-length novel in the Half Moon House series. Each book has it's own big romance and hair-raising adventure. And there's also a grand battle between sworn enemies arching over all of the books. We'll have to wait to the end to see that thrilling conclusion. I admit I'm having a very large time getting there--and I hope you will too!
