Interview w/ Margo Anne Rhea! + giveaway

Morning lovelies. We've got the author of Danny stopping by for a chat today. Danny is an erotic short story and sounds pretty interesting! There's a giveaway down at the bottom so be sure to check that out if you'd like to enter but feel free to leave Margo a comment either way :)  ~Anna

Paige Warren is sure she’s come to terms with her impending divorce, until she wakes up in bed with her soon-to-be ex, Danny. Worse yet, the bed belongs to Stacey, the sexual surrogate Paige and Danny have been sleeping with for months -- and Stacey’s not there.

As much as Paige tries to deny it, she soon realizes she’s still in love with Danny. Now she’s torn between him and the woman who holds them together. Should she risk hurting Stacey to rekindle a monogamous relationship with the man she once thought she’d spend the rest of her life with, or should she learn from past experience?

Danny is a sensual, erotic novella following one woman's struggle between a love she thought was over and a relationship that's barely begun.

Well good afternoon Margo! Welcome hun. Grab yourself a glass of Iced Tea. There's a batch of snickerdoodle muffins fresh out of the oven if you'd like to try one or two.
Mmm... Iced tea and muffins! You definitely know how to make a southern girl feel at home!
LOL I'm a southen girl too so there's always some sweet iced tea around ;) Now. tell me all about this new release of yours. Danny sounds like quite the interesting set up. I don't think I've ever read about a relationship where a sexual surrogate was involved. How'd this all come about and what can we expect from Danny?
Thanks! Yeah, Danny came about because of a dream I had. In a nutshell, I dreamt that my significant other (the real life Danny) and I were not together anymore, but were sleeping with the same woman. "Danny" was trying to seduce me into cheating on this other woman to be with him again. When I woke up, I had to write it down. Stacey wasn't originally a sexual surrogate. In fact she wasn't even present in the dream; she was just an idea. Her character evolved as I was writing and editing the story.
Danny is short, so I had to pack a lot of heat into those pages, had to make them count, so to speak. So, if anything, I think readers can expect a lot of heat/ intimacy.

I love a steamy intimate read so am totally on board with that! Alright, can ya tell us 3 fun behind the scenes things about Danny? Think Pop-Up Video style.
Oh, I used to be addicted to Pop-up video! Hmm... I have to think about this one. Oh!
1)Okay, so in one scene, I got so carried away writing it that I forgot to have anyone remove Stacey's undergarments. My fabulous editor, Tricia had to point out that Stacey goes from barely clothed to completely naked with no mention of the in between. This is why writers should always have a good editor! *oops! lol*
2) In the first chapter of Danny, there's a scene where Paige comes into the kitchen and Danny is standing at the stove with his back to her. She's watching the muscles of his back flex while he works and is wanting so badly to jump his bones. That's the dream, except he was at the sink washing dishes and they didn't eat breakfast together after. In the dream, he follows her across the apartment like he's stalking prey and almost manages to seduce her by the front door before she runs away. As much as I would have loved to write the scene that way, the characters wanted their story laid out over an awkward, morning-after breakfast.
3) Danny was originally title Cheat. We changed it at the last minute, just before the cover artist did her thing.
I definitely like the new title :) Was this your first foray into writing?
This is my first published work, but not the first book I've written. I have several manuscripts locked away in the vault of I'll-never-admit-I-wrote-that.
LOL I bet they're great Margo! Were they all similar genres?
Actually, Danny was my first attempt at contemporary erotic romance. Before this, I pretty much stuck to paranormal or historical romance.
Oh nice. Always fun to make a change and try something new! So, when you're not writing what kinds of things to you get up to?
Well, I enjoy taking a good book to the beach. Florida has some great beaches and it's nice to take my lounger and some steamy reading material out there and just relax for a couple of hours. I also enjoy shoe shopping and man watching, sometimes at the same time! I recently started taking cooking lessons and I enjoy wine tastings. I like to keep busy and try new things. But, sometimes it's nice to just curl up in bed with my little Maltese, Snow White.
Well that all sounds good to me! I'm a Florida girl originally so have been to the beaches there many a time and well man watching is always a plus ;) Now, just for fun...

Strangest thing in your purse right now? A granola bar. Girl's gotta have her snacks!

Favorite "can't get enough of it" dessert? Flan! Or any dessert, really.

Favorite man candy? Zac Efron my favorite pictures are included. You're welcome. :) *he did grow up nice, didn't he?*

Favorite wall color? Purple

Favorite flavor? Strawberry!

I'm completely obsessed with...? Mike and Ikes

Cats?? Or pups. Aw! I love them both. Unfortunately, the boyfriend is allergic to kitties, so it's just my puppy, Snow. For now.

Aw well pups are good too! Thanks for coming by for a chat Margo! Give a little love to Snow for us :)

Margo is a marketing specialist by day, and a writer of erotic romance by night. When she's not busy penning steamy fantasies, she can be found man-watching on the beach. She is a lover of shiny things and an avid collector of shoes, but her heart will always belong to books.

Yall feel free to enter the giveaway or just leave Margo a comment! We always love hearing from yall!
