[A to Z] Lust-- Heroes

Every year I join in on the A to Z Blogging Challenge where your goal is to spend April blogging the alphabet with a couple thousand other bloggers.

My Theme: Lust--in all it's different forms...

Today's post is about the Lust for Heroes!!

Roarke

charming Irish billionaire who is all about the frills of life. He's aloof, confident and has no qualms skirting the law. This could so easily make him seem like an ass but under it he's got such a soft side and good heart. He likes the finer things in life and pleasure of all kinds. Good food, real books, elegant surroundings, beautiful clothing. He and sin are well acquainted and lifelong friends.

Zsadist

Zsadist. Lord help me. This guy. He just about did me in. I bawled over him. His history, what he'd been through, seeing his desperation and how he fell in love. He's scary and broken and one of those heroes that has such a horrible past that it just guts you reading about it. I mean. It's absolutely a heartbreaking life he's led. But under the scars and the fierce exterior..yall...he's just amazing. And there's one scene at the end that I'll never forget and no mater how many times I've read it it just sends me in to tears it's so damn sweet.

I've read this one three times and managed to never review it which is...really odd. Not sure how I managed that. I rarely re-read and I almost always review so...no clue. I might need to fix that though :)

Clint

Clint's an impressively scary man. He's not what most would call handsome or gorgeous and is older than your average hero but damn he is a hero and a good one at that. He has the whole bad-ass vibe going on. He's totally cocky and has a smug humor and would probably scare the hell out of me if I ran into him in a dark alley but I just freaking loved him.

Clint has some pretty funny quirks when it comes to violence once it's all over and done with. I don't want to give it away but it's so unlikely and bless his heart you can't help but love him more for it.

What really did it for me, though, was his care for his heroine. She's finally broken down after being rescued and is just a mess on the bathroom floor and upset that she's shaking so much she can't even braid her hair. She's basically in that totally falling apart phase where you're just so damn fragile and can't deal. And Clint. He's just so damn sweet. Here's this huge hulking man and he wraps himself around her on the bathroom floor and just lets her cry it out. Then gets her talking about it all and while he's doing that he braids her hair for her. He did a totally terrible job of the braid but I just fell for him completely with that scene and how he cared for her and was exactly what she needed even if it put him outside his comfort zone.

Adam

Adam. Growly grumbly (totally sexy) alpha werewolf with a wicked sense of humor. Really Adam is one of my favorites because of his romance with Mercy. These two are just one of the best couples out there. I love that he's this big tough guy but he lets his heroine be just as badass and while he tries to protect her he lets her go out and save the day too.

Lord Ian Mackenzie

Ian is fascinating! I met him first as a secondary character and fell in love with him on the spot. Then I read his book and fell even harder. Ian's a different sort of hero. He's been called mad for most of his life and even been committed asylum for years and many people are nervous about him and if he's really safe. He's got what we'd call Asperger's which back in those days...not a safe thing to be different in any way. His story wasn't an easy one. The things he was put through will leave you shuddering. But he's such a good man! I loved watching him think. Seeing him figure things out and be in his own little world while he did so. His obsessions and intelligence and just everything about him. And then with his heroine. She was just the perfect one for him.

My Liege (Xavier)

My Liege is seriously lickable with his alpha male Dom ways. He'll totally make you catch your breath and hold you in his spell. He can totally rock the scary but then be so damn sweet it'll have you melting. He's creative too. Sometimes a good thing with a Dom. Sometimes...lol

Really though he's the type of Dom I would want.

Kade (Need You Tonight)

Damn me. That man is sex fucking walking. He'd definitely have a girl squirming and ready to do anything he asked. He's passionate and a bit hard *snicker* and he's just a kinky fucker that embraces...everything. Thank God because damn it's HOT! Kade's a total cocky bastard but he's sweet and caring under it and sporting his own insecurities that really make him relateable and God they absolutely tore at my heart. Some of the things that came out about him had me in tears. It was amazing seeing how he'd changed his life and become the man he was.

Jackson Pinter

'Proper Pinter', dayum the name so doesn't suit him. Jackson was freaking amazing. He's rough around the edges, inappropriately (but, fuck me, so deliciously) growly, passionate and loves Celia for exactly who she is. He's not always the smoothest but when he gets it right omg full body shivers.

Soo. Those are my favorites of the favorite heroes. If you had to pick your favorite heroes who would you go with and why?
