5 stars!! Fly With Me (Wild Aces #1) by Chanel Cleeton

Wow. Just...wow. Yall, Cleeton left me smiling, with tears in my eyes, and desperately needing book two of the Wild Aces series. Fly With Me blew me away. What a stunningly wonderful mix of humor, love, lust, heartbreak, and dreamy romance. *serious reader-girl sigh*

The quick of it is that sometimes the Fates they do conspire a girl meets her the man of her dreams while wearing a bobbing pink penis headband and rocking out to music at a Vegas night club. Yeah. Not the most glamorous of moments but one that sparked off an instant connection and a whirlwind romance between Noah and Jordan. Two very different people with a connection that refused to be ignored despite everything standing in their way...including an entire country.

His gaze ran over me, his mouth curving as his survey ended at the top of my head. I reached up to see if my hair was out of place and got a handful of something else instead.

My cheeks flamed. The penis headband. Shit.

I dropped my hand as though I'd been scalded.

Act cool. Pretend you didn't just grip the base of one of the giant pink phalluses currently bobbing on top of your head.

His lips curved even more as he gave me the full punch of his amusement--gorgeous white teeth and a laugh I wanted to cloak myself in.
Jordan and Noah were amazing! Jordan's so not my kind of girl but I absolutely loved her. She's over the top in looks and personality and a spot high maintenance but the girl has heart and sass and a little bit of a wicked gleam in her eye and I was a goner. And Noah? Cocky fighter pilot with swagger! Good lord! Yeah he dripped sex appeal. But he's also just an amazing guy who is passionate about his job, cares about his friends, was sweet (even if not in the traditional way) and sexy to boot.
"You're a little neurotic, aren't you?"

"Only in the fun way."
I loved them together. They were...they were perfect together. All their differences fit perfectly and they just had that glowing chemistry together. Like when you see people out together and you can just see that connection and fire between them? Gah. It was good. Sexy and sweet. Funny and moving. It's crazy hot and, whew boy, yeah these two will make you squirm!
"I want you on your knees while I fuck your mouth. I want to feel your pussy tightening down on my cock when I'm filling you up. I want to sleep with my arm hooked around your waist. I want to kiss that mouth of yours-- sweetest fucking thing I've ever tasted. I want more nights with you, and days, too.
---
"I want to make you come over and over again. Want to hear you scream my name. Want to play with your tits until you're writhing  and moaning over my cock. If you want that, I'm game."
Yall know I'm all over military romances and totally devour them. And this time it's...the Air Force. You seriously NEVER see that. It's always about the SEALs and Marines. And, now, I fucking love me a Marine, but it was really fascinating to see another branch of the military. The lingo, the danger, the bond the men had together. There was also a lot of humor early on in their relationship about Navy vs Air Force and it so had me laughing.
"So do you guys wear the white outfits?" she asked, a speculative gleam in her eyes.

Fucking Top Gun.
---
"That's the Navy."

"Oh." She flashed me an apologetic smile. Those are kind of hot."

I choked back a laugh. "Not letting you around any sailors. Check."

Her eyes twinkled with amusement. I hadn't been wrong last night. She definitely liked to play.

"How about the one from A Few Good Men? You know the black one with the gold and the cool hat."

"Still the Navy."

"Oh."

I grinned. "Definitely not letting you around any sailors."
Cleeton did an amazing job with it too. It felt like you were RIGHT there with them. Seeing the day to day. The cocky attraction of the fighter pilots that felt pretty spot on based on those I've met lol and the dangers they go through. The excitement and love of the job. The struggles in relationships and how freaking HARD it can be to love a man (or woman) in uniform. It wasn't entirely prettied up and they did struggle and it hurt to read it but damn it was some emotional stuff and just took me down. I was a bawling mess for a while and was totally rocking some puffy eyes the day after I finished this one. lol

All in all, I'm seriously impressed with Cleeton. Fly With Me was my first of her books and when I was about halfway through I had a thought pass through my mind...this is what it feels like to find a new favorite author. I was reading and had that click. That moment where you realize you've just slid into a new world and are so comfortable with it and the people who live there. Cleeton's words were like that. It was just like sliding into an old favorite and feeling like you were home within those words. A pretty amazing feeling and one that doesn't happen too often for me. I'm so glad book two is coming out in just a couple months.

U.S. Air Force fighter pilot Noah Miller—call sign Burn—loves nothing more than flying hard and fast. When he meets a gorgeous and sassy woman while partying in Las Vegas, he immediately locks on to her.

Jordan Callahan owns a thriving clothing boutique, but her love life is far less successful. Her luck changes when six feet, two inches of sexy swagger asks her to dance and turns her world upside down.

One scorching weekend becomes an undeniable chemistry that they can’t leave in Vegas. But the long distance relationship and their different lives threaten to ground their romance. And when the dangers of Noah’s job become all too real, Jordan learns being with a fighter pilot means risking it all for a shot at love…
