[meme-age] BabyG's Reading Wishlist plus Books We Got This Week

I wanted to meme. And only had one weekly post to do it. So there's a whole lotta memeage happening in this post. You might have to scroll down a bit to get the one you're looking for. 😸

It's been a busy week here. Not anything major just lots of 'round the house and blog maintenance and things to check off the list, ya know? Did some reading and went geocaching for the first time. I'm doing pretty good on the review pile despite the last few months eye troubles. As soon as they come in I've been getting them read and reviewed. NG is up to 93%. Woo! Feeling good about it.

For Review

I picked up 2 ebooks for review-- Once Upon a Christmas Eve and Disturbing His Peace. Both are already read and mostly reviewed.

And a review consideration from Avon from being an Avon Addict-- A Christmas to Remember. I've not read it yet but it's on the pile.

Purchased

All were free at time of purchase. First 3 are ebooks, last 2 are audiobooks.

Read this Week

the bachelor contract-- a good read overall

once upon a christmas eve-- was an okay read, could have been more

the christmas room-- it was good! 2 romances, 3 generations of family
disturbing his peace-- growly grumpy hero. Gah, he was lickable

Currently Reading

Wicked Ride-- I DNFd it back at it's release and am trying again. I'm not all that impressed. It's not horrible but it reads like fan-fic of JD Robb's series mashed with Sherrilyn Kenyon/GA Aiken. Not much original here at all.

Forbidden Fling-- I'm doing this on audio and really enjoying it. It's a borrow from Prime Reading (audio option)

This Week's Planner

A rather plain spread the next two weeks. I was feeling lazy and, honestly, I'm done with this year's planner and ready to move into my 2018 one and have been doodling in that one instead of the current one. lol

The belly of the turkey and the top of the pie will be my "thankful for" list for each week.

Top Ten: Books BabyG Wants to Read

Yall know BabyG loves to read. So I thought I'd let her take over this week's Top Ten list and instead of ten books I'd like HER to read one day she's sharing her list of books she wants me to read with her.

Question: If you had an author-only Thanksgiving party, who would you invite?
A: Hmmm
Jaci Burton because she's sweet and would maybe bring Riley and he's full of adorable.
JD Robb because I need more Roarke/Eve gossip
Katie Lane because she's a hoot
Anna Bennett because she's the sweetest and would probably bring some fun historical tidbits to keep us entertained
Patricia Briggs because she always has amazing stories to tell.
