[memes] Snowed In! + my week in books

I wanted to meme. And only had one weekly post to do it. So there's a whole lotta memeage happening in this post. You might have to scroll down a bit to get the one you're looking for. 😸

Well we made it to Friday. Can we leave it at that? lol

The Home Front
  • Lots of house work, organizing, purging. Made a little progress.
  • The food pantry was slow but lots of shelving was done so a good thing
  • I had a moment and put a huge dent in both passenger doors on the new car. It's bad. It was stupid. And will cost me. Blerg! But it drives and I'm fine.
  • I went to a Menorah Lighting which was interesting.
  • Cleo has crickly lungs again so a vet visit in our future, Sid has been released into general population, Kelly fought a opossum and lost. A vet visit for him, too. Lord this herd! lol
  • Aaaaaand we're likely getting snow this weekend. I've seen guesses of up to 8 inches. I...am not ready for that! Ack! There will be a run on milk/bread at stores tomorrow by everyone because...it's North Carolina and that's what we need to survive a storm apparently. lol
The Blog Front

  • I read a lot. Again. It's been a good escape lately and doing audio, too, I'm motoring.
  • I have a new kindle because I killed mine dropping it. Boo! But the new one is hot pink. Yay!

Another busy week! And I enjoyed all of them thoroughly.
Bickering Birds-- Oo death on a nature hike. Poaching, a grumpy pup, a bookworm and a mystery.
Savage Sourdough-- Mistaken identity, murder, a past coming back to haunt one of the main ladies

The Shell Game/Pros&Cons-- two short fun short stories about how the con man and FBI agent meet
The Job-- So fun! And all surrounding a fake shipwreck, treasure and a con job. Great audio
Dashing-- A nanny and a prince! A fun fairytale with a broken family finding a way to heal

I'm doing The Scam on audio and Scornful Scones in ebook. I'm enjoying both of them quite a bit.

I picked up a bunch of freebies. Hunt Them Down was my Prime Dec pick, the last 2 my Nov Audible freebies.

Top Ten: Snowed in Romances

Oh my word. Snowed in Romances are some of my favorites! I love that "trope". Something a little super charged about those romances. Seriously. If I could be snowed in with a cowboy for days on end? Lawd! Really any "stranded together no one else around" romance is one I need to get my hands on but we'll stick to snowy adventures this time.

Question: Do you tend to visit the same blogs each week but also try to look for new blogs?
A: Ugs. I'm lucky if I manage visit ANY blogs these days. Mostly when I am visiting it's old favorites and those who have stopped by my blog. So a new one now and again. Really I'm just perpetually behind on blog visits and tend to binge comment individual blogs every week or so.
