Gah! It's been freaking hot as hell here the last week. A couple 105+ days and I'm not even a little ashamed to say I got whiny there for a bit. This chicke does NOT go for the heat. Cold weather all the way!
So what's a girl to do?
Well, Christmas in July of course!
Lights are up on the deck. The 140 pound dog now has a jingle bell collar, Christmas cookies will be had. And since I'm a bit of a book junkie I'm going all out and reading as many Christmas/winter themed books as I possibly can. {there might even be some gifties along the way!}
- Christmas themed
- takes place during winter
- cold weather location
- Christmas/winter holiday happens during the book
- a "cold" looking cover
- An author/character/title with a wintry name
Alright so I'm kinda playing it fast and loose with the Christmas theme but you get the drift. So the shelves and shopping list were searched and damn I've got one hell of a lot of christmasy books/novellas and anthologies!
Some are naughty. Some are nice. A little old fashioned and a bit of the edgy. Paranormal and contemporary with a little historical mixed in. Should be an interesting month...

There are a few more in my tbr shelf on goodreads if you want to go look. I didn't want my comment to get too long.
Oooo haven't heard of some of those but love Maggie Shayne! Back to the shopping list :)
DeleteThanks Andrea!
I LOVE Christmas romance books. I know it's kind of dorky, but I really do love them. I don't have any PNR Christmas books, but here are two I am looking forward to. "Lady Louisa's Christmas Knight" by Grace Burrowes and "'Twas The Night After Christmas" by Sabrina Jeffries.
