From foster kid to trophy wife, Tessa McAllen is about to reinvent herself all over again—and defy every insult her cheating ex-husband ever used against her: Selfish? She’s championing a charity. Stupid? She’s getting her degree.
Boring in bed?
Kade Vandergriff can help her with that one. When they encounter each other at a singles event held at one of his restaurants, Tessa blurts out that kink is for girls who try too hard, and Kade instantly wants to show this sassy stranger how thrilling a night under his command can be…but when he learns her name, the game changes for both of them.
In high school, Tessa was the popular girl who stuttering, awkward Kade fell for. But she chose another. Now, as she eagerly learns lesson after lesson, he’s going to make sure she never forgets him again.

Thanks! So glad to be here. : )Need You Tonight was oh so deliciously naughty and fun. I can't wait to hear a little more about it! Alright, so, if you had to hook someone in just a few seconds what would you tell them that would have them panting after Kade and Tessa?
After finding her husband cheating, a former trophy wife goes on a mission to improve every aspect of herself. But when she runs into the boy who used to have a crush on her in high school and he’s grown up into a sexy dominant millionaire, she discovers she’s found the perfect person to check off that Get Better in Bed item on her checklist. And whew boy was he able to help with that! Yum! Can you tell us 3 fun (or naughty) behind the scenes facts about Need You Tonight?
- The song Kade is listening to in a 1996 flashback chapters (I have chapters from their high school years), “Until It Sleeps” by Metallica, actually has a lot of meaning for Kade’s character if you listen to the lyrics. *aaaand now I'm gonna have to go listen to that one lol*
- Kade’s physical inspiration is actor Alexander Skarsgard (Eric on True Blood)
- Kade’s first appearance in the series is in the novella STILL INTO YOU where he accidentally tries to seduce the very married heroine. Oops.
Despite his dominance, Kade is actually pretty tenderhearted, and when he falls, he falls hard. Also, his backstory is the toughest I’ve ever written for any hero (and includes the hardest scene I’ve ever had to write), so I love that he’s gone from serious beaten down underdog to hero.Gah you killed me with some of those scenes Roni. He totally pulled at my heart strings. So, what had you falling for Tessa?
I love Tessa because she’s a survivor. When she finds her husband cheating, she gives him hell and doesn’t even question whether to stay or go even though going means she literally loses everything. She’s a girl who’s not afraid to start over on her own terms. She was pretty kick ass on that. I was so cheering for her. Okay, how's about a couple quickies before you head off.
I'm totally addicted to...?
