Tasty Delights--Spaghetti with Cabbage & Breadcrumbs

Tasty Delights and Dazzling Disasters is all about playing in the kitchen and having some fun.

I'll share my delights and my disasters. Yall feel free to join in and create your own posts, share your favorite recipes, what have you. If you have a recipe suggestion just let me know!

I've been on a cooking spree lately and wanting to try dishes I've never made before. You know. Instead of making the same old...same old. So I whipped out my stack of recipes I've snagged from magazines and such over the years.

This one popped out at me and omg. It might not look like much but it's absolutely delicious!

The only recipe change I made was using soymilk instead of heavy cream.
It worked out fine. I just can't handle regular milk/cream for some reason.

First get your pasta cooking. You just want it al dente.

While the pasta is bubbling thinly slice the cabbage, season then saute/cover until slightly limp.
This doesn't take long. Just 5 or so minutes.
Add cream and let cook until thickens.

You can get your breadcrumbs going at the same time.
Melt garlic and butter until aromatic. Then add your breadcrumbs and brown.
This only takes 4 or so minutes as well.

Combine cheese, pasta and cabbage.

Top with toasted breadcrumbs.

And....serve!

Seriously. I will totally be making this again soon.
It was a great way to have cabbage a little differently.
It was simple and best of all...yummy.

Do you have a favorite cabbage recipe?
Or pasta dish?
