herding cats & burning soup: Mid Year Goal/Challenge Check In!

Since we're halfway through the year it was time for a check in! I figured I'd include both my blog/reading challenges and my resolutions update from back in Jan, too!

These are the reading challenges I'm participating in. I included links to each of the challenges, this is just my personal "hey, this is how I'm doing" post so I can link it up other places. :D

I think I'm doing pretty good on this! Still a lot of work to do, though.

1. Finish indexing the blog-- work in progress. I'm a bit behind.

2. Conquer the Past Due Review Pile.

I'm doing a pretty good job on this! I've kept up with new requests and gotten my NG down to 23. Edelweiss down to 7.

3. Streamline Yeah. I'm getting there.

4. Clear out my social media and use it more wisely.

I've done a lot of unliking/unfriending/unfollowing. Added a few new ones in to the mix. Trying to pay more attention to all the blog pages.

5. Finish designing and start selling review journals. Bwahaha yeah this hasn't happened.

1. Work on the house.-- Slowly. Slowly.

2. Get rid of 1,095 things! --I might have stopped keeping track but I'm getting rid of lots.

3. Walk 2,000,000 steps-- Not even close. I'm so far behind. I hate walking. lol

4. Try 52 new recipes. I'm maybe around 20. I need to update my list. I started it but, yeah, suck at keeping up.

5. Make the house more herd friendly. Slowly! I've found some new things they love and working on adding more.

Phrase of the year.... Less Is More.

I've brought less into the house, stressed less, made fewer commitments, have less people in my life (good thing!). I have been reading less which is a bummer but it's okay. I've been doing other things.

My goal for 2017 is 24 books past due books!

I'm making progress! I'm not quite where I need to be at this point but I'm okay with that. 8 is still pretty respectable, I think.
