I wanted to meme. And only had one weekly post to do it. So there's a whole lotta memeage happening in this post. You might have to scroll down a bit to get the one you're looking for. 😸
Holy reading binge, yall! I read SO much this week. And, really, just had a great week overall. I got so much done around the house and online. Plus had my meeting with the food pantry. Once the scheduler gets back into town looks like I'll be working there Wednesdays which I'm excited about. I also got to have lunch with an author friend and her hubby who were in NC for the day. Made a couple really delicious new recipes. It was just a good week here.
For Review
I didn't take on any new review books this week but did receive two for consideration. I do like Ryan so will likely read True to You. I've not read Howard but have heard good things so we shall see.
Purchased
Just three. All were freebies.
Read This Week
I read a freaking ton this week. Most were on the novella-long novella side so that helped but still...that's a lot of reviews to keep up with! Whew! But I had fun with all of them but The Rescuer. That was on ridiculous fuck up of a book. Everything else was a good time. And all from past kindle purchases. My next review commitment isn't until end of May so I thought I'd do some fun reading.
Currently Reading
Blergs, yall. This is on my blogger shame pile. I've picked it up and DNFed it multiple times now. But trying one last time. The beginning is just way too much of an info/character dump. It's getting better but we'll see.

Top Ten: Books Authors I’ve Decided I’m No Longer Interested In Reading
Honestly I don't really have many individual titles that I can think of so I figured I'd do authors I've pretty much abandoned. I think Ward is the only one I still attempt and that's her new contemporary saga though I'm not all fan girl on those either. Could really take them or leave them.
Many I abandoned due to social media idiocy. Vincent I abandoned because of her use of cheating as a plot device. Hall because she went kind of nutso and decided to use 5 pen names instead of one and I just couldn't be bothered.
JR Ward
Lori Wilde
Laura Kaye
Tonya Burrows
Marie Hall
Julia Quinn
Jill Sorenson
Eden Summers
Rachel Vincent
What authors or titles have you decided to skip from here on out?

Question: Have you ever found yourself acting like a favorite character in a novel? If so, which one?
A: LOL Nope not that I can recall. I did have one character who wasn't a "favorite" but one I liked and her emotions in the book totally had me feeling anxious without realizing why at first. But other than that no.
