I wanted to meme. And only had one weekly post to do it. So there's a whole lotta memeage happening in this post. You might have to scroll down a bit to get the one you're looking for. 😸
There was a lot of peopling, yall. USO and food pantry and I need a nap. lol We got some nice rain and I did some work around the house. Some more freaking snow but it didn't stick. Got some solid reading in and actually found my first 5 star read (I think) for the year. Woo!
Other than that the only other big thing is Blog Ahead starts this weekend! Eeee! I need this bad. It's all about pre-scheduling blog posts and getting ahead in your posts. Totally what saves the blog. I love having those extra posts done and ready to go for when I need a blogging break or have a blogger slump or kitty emergency. Anyone interested is welcome to join in!
I read four books this week. Woo! Two for review, one just for fun, one WAY past due review copy. Cowboy SEAL Redemption was so good! As was The One You Can't Forget. The Vixen and the Vet...yall. This book. I *think* it'll be my first 5 star for the year. I just need to write up my review.
And then there was Good Girl's Don't Date Rock Stars which I hated with a passion! The heroine was just scum of the earth. Great hero. Shitty heroine who needed to be crushed by a house full of horses.
Nothing? I just finished The Vixen and the Vet and think I need a little break. But likely Jill Shalvis or Shelly Laurenston when I'm ready.
Just one this week-- Marry in Scandal. I loved Marry in Haste so looking forward to this one.
I won an awesome giveaway over on Facebook from Katy Regnery. I've been loving her Blueberry Lane series but won her Fairytales series and I love me some fairytales. The Vixen and the Vet was amazing and had me a crying mess all Thursday. lol

Top Ten: Books That Take Place In Another Country
Ooo interesting! Most of my books take place in the US (where I live). My next would be England because, well, historicals. lol
So I went to my Goodreads shelves and found... Afghanistan, Australia, Barbados, Hungary, Canada, Egypt, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Russia, Scotland, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey and Ukraine.
Not too bad but still SO many to go. So anyway. My favorite reads from the places above (minus England because that feels like cheating lol)
Real Men Don't Quit by Coleen Kwan-- I read this AGES ago but enjoyed it. It's set in Australia.
Risk of Exposure by Emmy Curtis- This was my first by her and just fluffy, sexy rom-suspense goodness set in Ukraine
The SEAL's Secret Lover by Anne Calhoun-- A quickie but fun as the hero and heroine take her grandmom and 2 other little old ladies on a tour around Turkey.
Paper and Fire by Rachel Caine-- This series is AMAZING and an alternative history where the Library of Alexandria wasn't destroyed but is now evil. It's set in Egypt among other locations depending on book.
Wolf with Benefits by Shelly Laurenston. Just the funniest shifters ever and set in Russia this go around.
Not far from me but...Canada! I enjoyed all three of these. Fake mate vampires (my catnip!), a sexy dude ranch and winter Olympics. They were all so fun.
Holding Fire by April Hunt. This was a fun rom-suspense. It wasn't the whole thing but part was in Thailand which was a first for me and fun.
This whole series from Cornwall has been fun. Fairy tale retellings and...highlanders! Noms! Set in Scotland.
Anywho. That's some of my reader-ish travels. Have yall read any of them? Coolest location you've read about?

Question: When meeting with friends, do your discussions usually turn to books?
A: Um, yeah? What the devil else are we supposed to talk about? Cats of course but you gotta break up the BabyG stories with something. lol
