Woo! Another busy week. We had some really freaking scary rain where you could feel the dang sizzle from the lightning hitting.  The garden loved it, though.

USO and Food Pantry were both slammed. And two of my regulars were out of town so I had a sub at the food pantry and Ken and I had a filler lady at the USO. They were good, though!
Jeremy is doing really great on his thyroid meds. He's back to his bubbly self and seems to have even gained a little of his weight back. Mo survived his accidental medicating and is as bratty as ever.

There's a baby watermelon!!!! And baby peas! YALL I CAN'T EVEN!

[memes] Book Settings I Want To See? +this week

Whew boy, yall. It was a week. The normal things were fine. Food pantry was insanely busy. We had exactly 4 minutes of down time in 3 hours. Whew!

But then...the herd. Jeremy decided to give me a big scare. He started hiding and wouldn't eat, lost a bunch of weight, couldn't control his guts. So a vet visit. Turns out he's got a thyroid issue. A couple days on meds and he's getting some of his perk back. Whew!!

LOL Monday's post on Wednesday! Woo! Yes, I am on top of things this week!

So last week. It was pretty good. I did a CRAZY amount of couponing and got over $500 in groceries for...like 19 bucks. Bwahaha It was amazing.

USO and the Food Pantry were both good. Both were super busy, though. We usually have a little down time each shift but nope up and moving the whole time.

3.5 stars-- The One You Fight For (The Ones Who Got Away #3) by Roni Loren

I love me some Roni Loren. She writes the best romances and always has something a bit unique to either the story or series which makes it fun.

The Gist: Taryn's friends have decided she needs some stress relief and have signed her up for an extreme gym course with a sexy instructor. Extreme gym?! *eye twitch* He's a hottie, though. So, okay. Problem, though? They're both connected to a decades old school shooting. One a victim of a shooter, one the brother of the killer. So, yes, things get complicated.

I had the USO and Food Pantry this week and both were super busy. Usually we have a bit of downtime during both at some point but goodness nope. On our feet and motoring almost the entire shift which was kinda nice.
