Best Books of 2019!

I had a wonderful time reading the first half of 2019. I continued taking very few review books and focused on just reading for fun. Freebies, from the library, from my own shelves for a change. I tried out KU and picked up some random suggestions from friends. And it was fantastic! Things did go sideways mid September and I haven't really read since then but before that I read 144 total books. Which is pretty amazing since I've only read 3 since September! But I hit my Goodreads goal which is great. Anywho...

124--Ebook
16--Audio

New to Me Authors-- 25

These were my favorites...

Christina Hovland blew me away. This was my first time trying her and whoa!
They're hilarious and sweet and full of sexy heroes and awesome heroines. You need these books. Seriously. My best find of 2019.

Rock Hard was pretty great, too. I enjoyed book one as well. So much heart and characters that just make you ache.

Spirit of the Knight was such a clever ghostly romance. A 700+ year old Scottish Knight. A present day artist painting his castle. It was lovely.

Trailblazer was a fantastic Western. A creative set up with a heroine traveling across the country to work at a railroad station restaurant chain. The perfect amount of grit and heart.

Just a Hint--Clint was a reread of an old favorite. A mousy little heroine and a hero with an ugly mug sent to rescue her from kidnappers. These two are just everything and wonderful.

Honorable Mentions

The Vampire Knitting Club series was a new one to me and such fun. The heroine inherits a knitting store and then finds out it comes complete with... a knitting club for vampires. Nice mysteries, a fun setting and great characters. It was clever and well worth the read.

I had such fun with this mini series from Foster. Set in an RV park it was a little unique and I fell for the characters of Sisters of Summer's End easily. And yes there was a pup!

Night Shifts Black was a curious surprise. It kept me glued to the pages wondering what exactly was going on. It was my first by Santos and I'll read more.

And I did a re-read. Or re-listen. I've read the series a few times and felt like visiting again. The audios are amazing. The characters are amazing. If you haven't met Adam and Mercy yet you need to in 2020. Trust me.
