Blog Ahead Mini #1-- My Goals & Progress!

Woohoo! Blog Ahead is almost here. This challenge is all about giving yourself a buffer and blogging ahead. For the mini challenge the goal is to increase your number of scheduled posts by 15 by the end of the challenge.

So if you start with 15 posts scheduled on March 1st you need to have 30 posts scheduled on March 15th.

Blog Ahead Tally

Aaaaand Blog Ahead is a GO! Tomorrow--Oct 1-- starts our annual Blog Ahead Challenge. For the entire month of October I'll be busting butt working on extra blog posts so I can get ahead with the blog and hopefully have a little less stress. 2016 has been brutal and my reserves are near tapped from emergencies and home renovations and whatnot. I'm pretty excited about the challenge and hopefully getting the blog fully stocked again.

This will be my tally post for the event.

I'm starting with 19 posts scheduled.

The event goal is 30 posts more than that. Whew!

You Oughta Know-- Facebook & Herding Cats (things are a changing)

Okay so a HUGE thing with the blog! Facebook recently decided to be difficult with our Fan Page. Views dropped to a ridiculous low. We've always had great interaction and reach and then this past month they were like BOOM no more views for you!

So! I started a FB Group for the blog since they don't get the same smack down as a fan page.

Basically it's a review challenge for all us naughty bloggers who have managed to get a backlog of reviews from ages ago that just slipped through the cracks. All review books that count for the challenge have to have been on your review list for 6+ months.

Herding Cats is FOUR!! Woots & Squees!

It's 2016!!!
But! More importantly herding cats & burning soup is officially FOUR years old. <wink>

It's been a whirlwind of a 4 years but I've had such a good time with it. Never thought I'd be doing all of the events and features I currently do but damn it's a good time.

My 2015 Goals. How'd I Do??! Erms...

So. I kicked off 2015 with a set of bloggery goals. There were... a lot of them. And I made some good progress overall I think. I'm feeling confident in the blog and where I wanna be. Yay! It's not perfect but it's getting there. Totally rocked some goals, some are a work in progress and some, well, not so much. I thought I'd do a quick recap on how things went before I figure out what I wanna try in 2016 :)

So! How is everyone doing??
I've done a crazy ton of posts so far this month but most of them have actually been for October. Like 30 posts done at this point and only half-ish for the challenge. lol But stuff is getting done even with taking a couple days off with no work towards the challenge. How are YALL doing? Any exciting progress? And plans in place for this week? My plan for the week is to finish all reviews for Oct that I've already read (took on a few recently so haven't read those yet) and work on Dec event posts.
