Dayum! It's been COLD at Casa Herding Kitties!

Hey all! Sooo it's been quiet from this end. Sorry about that! Was getting ready for the bad weather and pending time with a sick herd babe and then....It's been COLD and DARK at Casa Herding Kitties. We got caught up in the winter storm happening and got hit with ice. Lots and lots of freezing rain that turned to ice and knocked out the power here for 12 hours. Holy freaking COLD!

So no internet but worse no heat. And a very grumbly herd after about hour 8. They were over it. OVER IT! lol We're huddled in the living room (it has a fireplace) and it pretty much looks like a BedBath&Beyond exploded in here from all the blankets and curtains. lol I swear it's gonna take a week to wash them all. 

Today we're totally gonna celebrate...ME!!!!! Yes! I said it. You are! lol

That's right. We're gonna celebrate me for 24 man candy infused hours. Because I'm fucking awesome. *nods*

And today...is my day.

There will be no mention of the b-word. Dooooon't do it!

However 'Happy Saturday's are more than welcome.

How are we gonna celebrate the gloriousness that is mwah?
With the most perfect day...ever. Of course. <grins>

Hmm either time manipulation or night vision. Both would be oh so handy for extra reading time or reading in bed at night :) 

Or non-bookish...Misting? Shadowing? No clue what to call it but being able to go all misty tiny particle-ish and being able to move through the air/shadows/through cracks/etc.

Sweet! Entangled's Indulgence Line gets a Makeover!

OOoooOo. I freaking LOVE Entangled and all of their lines. Yall know that. Some exciting news for their Indulgence line today. It got a makeover. That's right. All 56 books in the line got a pretty, pretty revamp. I actually really liked their old look but the new one's rather nice too. Check out their 3 new releases and all their yummy new covers!

Hey Chickies!

Okay, so a little random post for yall but I realized something earlier and just wanted to get a note out to everyone that it's okay if you don't want to enter a giveaway. You are still more than welcome to comment on the posts even if you're not entering. Reviews, interviews, guest posts, what-have-you's. 

I love hearing from yall and so do the authors so if there's an author you just want to just say hi to because you love their work (but you don't want the book being given away for whatever reason) come by and leave them a comment. Or if it's a book being reviewed that sounds good to you? Feel free to drop a note off. 

The only way you'll be entered in the giveaways is if you actually enter info in the Rafflecopters :)

Alright, so, why do I need your help?

Well, the blog turned a year old in January and I'm wanting to do some tweaking here and there to make things more user friendly and I'd like your input first.

What works for you, what doesn't, what would you like more (or less) of, is there something about the blog you love? Or that makes you grind your teeth?

Authors if you're following I'd love to hear from yall too. 

So here are the questions. And feel free to add other ideas/suggestions too, these are just the ones off the top of my head. And you don't have to answer all the questions ;)

1. Giveaways: 

• Like em? Love em? Hate em? Wish there were more or less? 
• Do you prefer print or ebooks? 
• Does having books signed make a difference? It takes some work getting signed ones but if yall aren't into that I'll skip it. 
• What about entries? Is Rafflecopter working for you? Or do you prefer leaving just a comment & email?
• If you're a regular follower and commenter (not just a giveaway commenter) do you enter the giveaways?

2013 Blogging from A to Z Challenge!

Woot so it's almost that time of the year again!  Last year was my first year blogging and I signed up, kinda randomly, for an event called Blogging from A to Z. Thought it would be fun and not all that hard. ::snort:: Whew it really was a challenge! Basically the month of April you and a couple thousand other bloggers blog the alphabet. Starting on the first Monday with the letter A and going every day but Sunday until the end of the month and the letter Z.  You can blog about...anything really. With a theme or without. I had a blast with it last year and decided to join in again this year. It really puts your blogging skills to the test! Not sure what I'll actually do but thought I'd share in case any of yall want to join in too!

We're a whole year old today!! Woohoo!!

Happy 2013 Everyone! Guess what?!! We're officially ONE today!

I can't believe it's a New Year and that the blog has *officially* been around for an entire year! 

Heck I can't believe how much it's grown either! Thank you all for being a part of it! It's been such a blast meeting you all and chatting our favorite books, finding new ones to read and hearing what yall think :)

I hope you've all been having a great time with our Authors for the Holiday celebration. We had a great time putting it together and cannot thank all of the wonderful authors for being part of the event and generously donating so many goodies for the giveaways enough. These ladies ROCK!
