So much sweetness. This week was a hard one for our herd. We lost our Zack who was 11 1/2 years old pretty suddenly. He was the best dog and LOVED his kitties so I wanted to do a kitty/pup post today.  Every second with them is pretty precious and it's amazing how fast the years fly by. Give all your little herd babies a little extra love for us.

Zack and Elijah a couple years back. He was such a patient boy. lol.
The herd kitties were always climbing all over him.

Zack with herd baby Gladys when she was just a pound (he was 140).
The girlie had no fear at all.

  1. i'm so sorry for you, i know how hard it is to loose our little babies. All my condoleances
big petting to the cats too they must be feeling lost too

Like the others in the pictures he was really patient. Mine isn't as much anymore when teh cat want to play and he doesn't he flee^^;; but when the cat was still a little baby he could be supended to his ear and the dog did nothing at all. When one is sick the other is really calm ( the dog come to help by being near when it's the opposite the cat disappear not making anything bad so we can focuse on the dog) they are lost when one is missing

i will go lie down with mine now after nearly loosing him several time i need his confort as much he needs mine

    i'm really sorry for you

    1. Thank you Miki :) I've been spending extra time with the herd kitties and Margarite who is my other pup. The house was very very quiet the first few days without Zack. Like everyone knew something wasn't right and didn't know what to do.

Your babies sound so wonderful Miki. It's amazing the bonds that can be created. Lots of love to your herd!

    2. it's great yes but also dangerous because last time my dog lost one of his friend ( one he was seeing at max 1 time a week and not everything week) he started bitting himself to blood without stopping until teh new one came so i'm always afraid for both of them when one isn't well.

i've send you a little something it won't erase the pain of course but if it can make you smile a little that would be great

    1. Thanks Steph. I've been doing just that looking over all of the photos we have of him and the rest of the herd. It still hard not having him here and doesn't seem real all the time but I've been trying to think of all those wonderful moments with him and loving extra on the babies here. I think I'm driving them a little crazy. LOL.

  11. awe I am sorry to hear about Zack, Anna. It's always hard to lose someone you love, whether it is an animal or person, they are part of your family and your heart. My dogs are like my kids, and I don't know what I would do without them. Zk here reminds me of my Uncle's old Golden Retriver, Shasta. He loved all other animals but took a special shine to my kitten. He never wanted her out of his sight!

I look forward to these Cat Thursdays always such cute pictures to bring a smile! (eve if I am a bit late to see them) :-P
