Tasty Delights-- Hot Chocolate Floats!

Tasty Delights and Dazzling Disasters is all about playing in the kitchen and having some fun.

I'll share my delights or my disasters. Yall feel free to join in and create your own posts, share your favorite recipes, what have you.

Yeah. Hot Chocolate Floats. Kinda like a Rootbeer Float but winterized. LOL

Start with a Christmasy ice cream like Peppermint Bark and Hot Chocolate.
I used a recipe of my Nutella Hot Chocolate for this one and it was perfect.
Candy Cane crumbles aren't a must. I just had some lying around and decided to use them for garnish.

Prepare hot chocolate
Scoop ice cream into mug.
Then pour hot hot chocolate over ice cream.

And...hot chocolate floats. It turns cool pretty quickly.
The hot chocoalte melts a bit of the ice cream and it really does float.
It's drinkable or sip-able whichever you prefer.

Final verdict... I liked it! It was super easy and just decadent. It was a desert all on it's own.

Do you have a favorite winter drink?
