Interview w/ Jessica Sorensen--oh you gotta see who she'd haunt!

The dark secret Kayden has kept hidden for years is out. Worse, he's facing charges for battery. The only way he stands a chance against the charges is if Callie speaks up, something he'll never ask her to do.

Callie knows Kayden is going back to his dark place and desperately wants to save him. But saving him means admitting her secrets aloud. Callie and Kayden are stronger than they think, especially when they're together. Together they move forward, face their demons, and finally start to heal from their traumatic pasts.

Morning Jessica! I just pulled a batch of cinnamon rolls out of the oven so come on into the kitchen and grab dish while we chat. I'm dying to hear about your new release. It sounds pretty intense. So what can I expect from Callie, Kayden and their story?
Callie and Kayden’s story is about two people who seem like complete opposites on the outside, but have a lot of similarities on the inside. Callie is quiet and kind of the school nerd, while Kayden’s the popular football player, but they’re both hiding secrets about their past and themselves.
They meet by coincidence one night when Callie kind of saves Kayden. The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden (book 1) and The Redemption of Callie and Kayden (Book 2) is about their journey of falling in love, healing, and letting go of their secrets.

It really does sound great. Alright, so I'm a total quote whore--even host a meme called Quote-tastic LOL. I'd love to hear what your absolute favorite quote was from The Redemption of Callie and Kayden?
One of my favorites would have to be from Kayden:

“And she means it. She would do anything for me—she already has. She gave up her secret, she gave me herself, she gave me her love. And even though I can’t tell her yet, I feel the same way about her. She owns me completely, uncontrollably, irreversibly.”
Oh I love that! Alright any gossipy fun behind the scenes facts you can share?
  • The rock area that Callie and Kayden go to is actually based on a small town I used to drive through. The whole hillside was covered with graduation dates.
  • I listen to Never too Late by Three Days Grace at least fifty times while I was writing the story because I found it inspirational.
  • Even though Kayden is a football player, I hardly know anything about football. Any football knowledge in the story came from me asking my husband questions.
LOL oh that's great. I love sporty romances but yeah no clue about real life sports. ;) So, if you could go
anywhere, do anything, haunt anyone--what kind of things would you get up to?
If I could go anywhere I would go everywhere and do everything I could in each place—sit on top of the Eiffel tower, spend a day swimming in the ocean, see the pyramids, learn how to belly dance. As for haunting… Ian Somerhalder :)
Mmm yeah he'd be lovely to haunt! Alright a couple silly ones before you head out...
