4 stars-- The Vampire Knitting Club (Vampire Knitting Club #1) by Nancy Warren

Oh my gosh. The Vampire Knitting Club was a blast. Light and easy and just a fun little para-romp.
The Gist: Lucy's grandmom has passed away and left Lucy her knitting shop. It turns out she can't knit, her Gran's more undead than dead, now, and that quiet little knitting shop? Well, it's come with a herd of knitting vampires and a whole host of other crazy happenings to keep her busy. First order of business...figure out who tried to kill her Gran.

[memes] Summer TBR pile +my week

Well. I can't even remember the week. lol I cleaned and gardened and read. Had a stare off with an unexpected snake and didn't leave the house for nearly 24 hours after because oh my god nope! Had the food pantry on Wednesday and it went fine other than that one assy volunteer who's always snotty to me. Ugh at bitchy women. smh

Oh. Pumpkin update for yall who were here last week! My baby is getting so big!

Bloggers-- I'm making my way to visits. I have like 2 months of catching up and it's taking a bit. But I'm getting there. So advance apology for the binge comments when I get to ya! lol

In My Cart-- $210.31 of Groceries. I Paid $15.31

I decided to start sharing my couponing adventures on the blog!

Couponing has been a bit slow here. I've had other things going on, have a packed pantry and there weren't a ton of deals happening. So I haven't posted since June 1! So this is about 3 weeks of couponing in one post. Some great deals even if it took a bit longer to snag them all.

My Shopping Totals This Week

I paid $15.31 for $210.31 in Groceries!

[QuoteTastic] Cowboy to the Core (Gold Valley #6) by Maisey Yates

Cowboys and cowgirls and Maisey Yates. Happy thing, people. Happy thing. Alright so this quote made me laugh. The heroine is a bit prickly about being an independent lady. She don't need no man! No she sure doesn't! ::snort::

[memes] Most Anticipated Reads Part 2 + my week

It was a busy but good week here. I had the USO and food pantry. Both were quite busy and we were down a man at the USO so it kept us moving the whole shift.

I did some gardening and work around the house. I have my first pumpkin, yall!!

The only other notable thing is I'm searching for a new bank. My current (SunTrust) is combining with my former (BB&T) and I'd rather burn my money than have anything to do with BB&T so...a search has begun. I might look into a credit union for the first time. We shall see.

[QuoteTastic] Stitches and Witches (Vampire Knitting Club #2) by Nancy Warren

Another quote that has nothing to do, really, with the book but it just made me chuckle. I understand, Chubby Peacock, I understand.

[Buy The Book] New Releases & Sales!

It's been an absolute AGE since I did a book release/sales post. I thought I'd start doing those again. I now have an Amazon Shop so am adding all new releases and sales to those and they're linked below. If you'd like to follow the shop or bookmark it please do! I've got a bunch of other categories, too, from cat supplies to garden items and just fun stuff I've bought and enjoyed over the years.

Click on the graphics below to go to the list for this week.
(I'm hoping to save myself from downloading hundreds of covers each month and linking them individually here as well as there. Hopefully it will work)

4 stars-- Sisters of Summer's End (Summer Resort #2) by Lori Foster

Sisters of Summer's End was pretty cute! And two romances for the price of one. Both sweet stories that left me smiling as two ladies become best friends and it changes both of their lives forever.
The Gist: Maris and Joy spend their days working hard at the RV resort where they've both lives for the last few years. They love it. But they also have a tendency to keep people at a polite distance. Both a little starved for a confidant they take a chance on each other and become best friends. Opening up and sharing their lives and pasts. And challenging each other to be a little more daring and have a little fun with a pair of guys who are quite mad about them.

[memes] Unpopular Bookish Opinions!

We finally had rain!!!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF RAIN!!! And it's been amazing! We went 30+ days with no rain and a good chunk of those 93-98 degrees so it was getting rather dire. And, yes, I know a lot are having the exact opposite issue and having too much rain but no rain is pretty terrible, too.

I had the food pantry and it was semi-quiet. One extremely rude and entitled individual came in but other than her it was a good shift.

[QuoteTastic] Going Down on One Knee (Mile High Matched #1) by Christina Hovland

Oh. My. Book love. Hovland is definitely climbing the ranks of favorite new authors. Going Down on One Knee was hilarious, yall. The heroine is a bit buttoned up. The hero is a bit wild and cheeky. It's a fun pairing...

[memes] Favorite Contemporary Reads!

June kicked off a little cooler! We got our first rain in a month and it was glorious! Took temps down a good 10 degrees for the next week.

It was a pretty busy week here. Had the USO and food pantry. A little slow at the pantry but the USO was busy from the holiday weekend.

I had a bunch of couponing with an event happening at our store which is always fun. Got a ton to donate plus a few new items to try out for free.
