4 stars-- Finding Me (Love at Starlight #3) by Kris Jett

I won't lie. I was real nervous going into Finding Me. Luci and I have NOT gotten along during the series so far so I was fully prepared to have a bitch fest all over her but...she pulled it off!

The Gist: Luci done screwed up. She tried to sell her sister's pub...without permission and the realtor? Well he's kinda pissed since she wasted all his time for nothing.  It kinda grates that he keeps running into her all over town. But dammit he's intrigued, too. And suddenly finds himself all wrapped up in one of her schemes.

It was a pretty quiet couponing week here. Sometimes that happens! I'm waiting for Sunday's coupons to do my regular shopping. So this is it this week.

I HAVE A ROOF!!!!! Yall! I am giddy! They showed up and got the roof off and it promptly started to rain (when it had a 3% chance) then flurry. Once it stopped it took them about 5 hours. It's such a relief to have that finally off my to do list. And now that it's done the skies are like eh, rain? I'm good, thanks. *rolls eyes*

Cleo had a few breathing attacks which was frustrating. Her oxygen machine did arrive and has helped. We've started a few new meds as well. Weather/mold are kicking off the issue, we think.

Oh my word. I was wishing for a rouge llama to run this hero the fuck over for a good damn while. Whew!

The Gist: Life is an absolute bitch some days. Being stood up at the alter, a family crisis and finding out you now have a step mom, step sisters...who are dogs and an evil step brother intent on stealing away your inheritance? Yeah. Kimber is about done with that shit.

More rain. Oh my gosh. Turn off the faucet! LOL We had a couple days break and that was wonderful, though. It's nice not to squish when you walk. ::snort:: 

The week was fairly quiet. Cleo had an attack and we had to do a quick 3am trip to the emergency vet but thankfully were home within an hour (she just needed some oxygen)

I had the food pantry and USO and both were pretty quiet, too. It was a bit weird.

Other than that not much. The yard guys are nearly done and the roofers are hopefully finishing up the roof today (Friday). Just in time for weekend rain. I'm so excited to have that done.

Not too much this week. The rain finally paused long enough for the yard guys to come out and start clearing the back yard. And got a roofing estimate that was lower than expected so that was exciting.
