Welcome to herding cats & burning soup!

Seriously. I'm so glad you stopped by. We do all kinds of fun stuff around here and I love getting to visit with everyone and chatting books, pets and food.

So a little about the blog. I know we have a funny name but it fits us, I swear! lol I actually do herd cats. I have a herd. If you follow us on Instagram or Facebook you'll see all their antics. In real life I own an animal rescue. Though, these days it's more sanctuary. The herd used to have pups and turtles but now we're just kitties and a single mouse. lol

Oh! And my name is Anna. I'm a vegetarian and a fan of pierced cocks (fictional, of course) and love the word fuck! Woo! Yes, I have a dirty mouth and I'm not afraid to use it. <winks> I volunteer at the USO and have been getting into lettering.

I like my nature firmly on the other side of a nice thick piece of glass and a lot of concrete, brick and steel. Bugs really freak me out. So do birds, anything that slithers and things that have no sense of personal space (hello butterflies!) ::shudder::

I post all kinds of random on the blog. I mainly review romance books but some others sneak in, too. There are cooking posts, discussions, photos. And just random stuff that pops into my head. lol

I love hearing from yall so feel free to jump in and comment on posts or visit on social media. If you look up at the banner you'll see all the places I haunt ;)

    1. One of the best things I bought for the house Tanya! Got them at Ikea. It's 3 of their line put together. LOVE THEM. And they were too expensive either. I have a black set exactly like this one up in the guest room too. Thinking of adding another larger set to the dining room :D

    1. Mine too!! LOL Well the turtle most days is one of my favorites. I wasn't toooo thrilled with her the other day when she tried to run away from home and I had to spend 2 hours searching the yard and touching nature trying to find her. smh. Love her to bits but holy cow. lol

  6. I'm an animal lover, too. Have four cats. Wish I had the room to take in all the old pets people abandon just when they need them most. Growing up I've had turtles, lizards, cats, dogs, fish and birds.

    1. LOL it sounds a lot like our house growing up. No turtles or birds but we did hamsters and hermit crabs. Makes life so interesting!
