Follow Friday- one book or two?

Q: Do you read one book at a time or do you switch back and forth between two or more?

A: I've tried reading more than one at a time but nope. Not for me. Once I get into a story I can't put it down long enough to pick up another book and get involved with that one. I know some people who can read 4 or 5 at a time. Would drive me nuts! I do read really fast though and can get through 4-6 books per week so that probably has a bit to do with only reading one at a time too.

Tonight I'm reading Deliver Me From Darkness by Tes Hilaire and loving it so far.

So what about yall? One at a time or do you have a whole herd of books going at the same time?

  4. I only read 1 or 2 at a time since I don't want to get too distracted. I'm now following you via GFC and would love for you to visit me whenever you get a chance... http://wowfromthescarfprincess.blogspot.com/2012/03/feature-follow-friday_29.html

    1. I get too distracted with more than one. On occasion I can do two but they have to be really different from each other.

  5. I'm a fast reader, too. I'd probably read even faster if I wouldn't review the books haha. But where's the fun in that?

  12. I used to be incapable of reading more than one book at once... now I've switched to finding it hard to concentrate on only one book at once! Plus, that's a lot of books per week! Respect!

  13. I'm pretty sure I couldn't cope with 4-5 books at a time, either! As you've said, 2 is often too much for me, without anything else!

  19. I am currently dealing with this. I just got a ton of new books for my kindle, including the naughty "shades of grey" series... but I'm still reading Stephen Kings 11/22/63. AND I also got a Dean Koontz that my friend says it's so scary it belongs in the freezer (Friends reference) so I want to read that too. What to do!!!! New follower!

    1. Bwahaa. Love that episode of Friends. If I ever read King or Koontz I'm sure that's where my book would end up too! I've had the shades of grey books on my Nook for a while now. Since before they blew up. Really need to get to reading those! Thanks for coming by Susan!

  21. I'm bad at reading one book at a time. I actually flip flop between two books reading 50-100 pages at a time. Then, I stay with one until the end and write my review.
