3.5 stars-- The Corner of Forever and Always (Everland, Georgia #2) by Lia Riley

Oh my gosh, yall. This cover. It's so flipping cute! It gave me a case of instant *grabby hands* lol

And The Corner of Forever and Always was a totally cute read, too!

The gist is that both Tuesday and Beau are now in the business of saving things. He's trying to save the town and she's trying to save the town's historic amusement park. And they might just have to work together to make sure both happen even if they drive each other rather nutty. *nods*

I did have fun with this one. I liked Tuesday and Beau and that they were total opposites. They really needed each other in that regard. He needed to loosen up a bit, she needed some more stability. They drive each other absolutely batty but I couldn't help but like those growly bits. It made for some good entertainment as they both tried to get what they wanted. They both have good hearts and really everything they do is to help others.
"You probably think I'm crazy," she muttered.

"Let's be clear." He removed his helmet. "I definitely think you're crazy. But here's the important thing. I think I like it."
While I did have fun with them and watching their antics play out I also had a couple issues. The town got on my nerves a good bit though they somewhat apologized. I also struggled with the heroine on occasion. She had a tendency to get upset with people for not knowing what she *really* wanted or thinking she was was irresponsible though her actions really got her what she put out there. Like if someone says hey you want a coke and you go I'd love a coke! but really you want a water. How is that their fault for not knowing?! A couple inconsistencies as well that editing hopefully cleared up.

Overall, though, even with some quibbles I did have fun with this one. Small town life, a fiery pairing, some personal growth. Not so bad.
Tuesday Knight's dream of Broadway stardom has flopped, leaving her unemployed and brokenhearted. Ready to quit kissing frogs and make her own happily-ever-after, she takes a job as a princess in Everland, Georgia's historical amusement park.

Mayor Beau Marino lives an unenchanted existence-all work, no play-which is fine by him. After his marriage ended in disaster, the last thing he wants in his life is more drama. But Everland's new free spirit has a talent for getting under his starched collar.

When the town's beloved but bankrupt park might be shut down, Tuesday and Beau face a choice. Can they join forces, save the day-and each other? Or will their fierce battle of wills destroy any chance of a fairy-tale ending?
