Nothing’s sexier than a man in Wranglers…except maybe four men in Wranglers!
Olivia Vance thought the best part of her dude ranch vacation was going to be the Texas scenery. Boy was she wrong. Literally falling off a bus and into the arms of Ray Ronch flames fantasies involving him and several of his hunky ranch hands.
Ray Ronch likes being in charge, in the bedroom and on his ranch. After one night of having Olivia along with his long time lover, James, he’s sure they all have something special together. But an unscrupulous IRS agent is taking his ranch. He’s got nothing to offer her except the ability to fulfill her fantasy of being with four men.
Ray’s given Olivia a wonderful gift in helping her realize her fantasies, but she really wants James and Ray. Will she find the courage to take on the IRS, the west, and have her cowboys for keeps?
Type: Contemporary Romance/Erotica, Menage (m/m/f), Novella
Heat: 5 out of 5
Rating: 4 out of 5
Alright so I have a thing about not reading book blurbs. I kinda like being surprised when I'm reading and oh.my.god. Yeah, big damn surprise. But in a good way. There's a lot of hot and heavy cowboy lovin' in Ronch Ranch and it'll definitely get your pulse racing. Can't help but love that!
Ronch Ranch is a quick, get down to business, kinda novella with a fun set up of a city girl vacationing at a Dude Ranch, in the middle of nowhere Texas, that's filled with a blasted plethora of sexy-as-sin cowboys that are a little closer to each other than you might expect.
I enjoyed the main players and found the relationship between James and Ray...interesting. I've read a good bit of menage storylines but usually of the m/f/m variety so it was a little different seeing the guys involved with each other with and without their heroine. The chemistry between the group was pretty solid and I liked how open they all were with trying new things <g>
There's a bit of a storyline going on in the background with Ray being in jeopardy of losing his ranch. He's usually in charge and in command, of pretty much all aspects of his life, so you can imagine it wasn't his best moment. I kind of liked seeing the vulnerable side of him and how things played out for the trio and their relationship because of it.
Even though things moved a bit faster than I prefer and there were some editing blips here and there Ronch Ranch definitely hits the spot if you're feeling adventurous and looking for a hard and fast sexy read.

Hi, I don't read a lot of western romance but not opposed to it . Added to my TBR piles ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Lori
lorih824@yahoo.com
I find I'm reading more and more of them LOL Something about those cowboys is really working for me this year ;)
Deleteoki there is the menage part that is keeping me a bit reserved but that being put aside seems like a good book
ReplyDeleteI decided this past year that I kind of like menage books. It's so not my real lifestyle but I find the whole dynamic when I'm reading really fascinating :)
DeleteA decent m/m/f menage? I'll have to track this one down.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it and getting my toes a little wet in the genre. It could have used a little editing I think to make it better but I'm usually pretty forgiving where that comes into things and for a quick novella/short it wasn't bad at all and got me curious about trying other m/m/f menage. So a win in my book.
DeleteThank you for the review on this book. I'm going to add it to my TBRs.
ReplyDeleteNo prob :) Thanks for coming by Jessiel!
DeleteI'm with Miki about being a tad reserved on this one but hey!... If you give it a 4 out of 5 that's a pretty good reason to at least give it a try.
ReplyDeleteLOL I was so like yall a couple years back. I can't remember which was my first menage but I've really enjoyed them. I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to my reading though :) Definitely not the genre for everyone but eh turns out it's one of my reading kinks LOL
DeleteI takes a lot to make a good triad book in my opinion. I have read a few that I really didn't care for. I like the genre though. It makes for a different aspect on romance. I'll have to pick this one up :-)
ReplyDeleteIt really does take a lot. I've read here and there in the genre and that's just what it is for me. I like to see a different take on romance and see different lifestyles. I've read a couple by Maya Banks that were pretty good. I know I've read a good few others but darn if my mind isn't pulling a complete blank. This was the first of the m/m/f variety though which I think really caught my attention. Not sure what I think about a submissive male. Kinda strange for me. But interesting :)
DeleteI am totally (well, almost) the same way about blurbs. I'll skim it for keywords, and then I won't read it again half the time. By the time I'm able to get to the book its a surprise. Thank goodness I keep a list of what I have to read!
ReplyDeleteI just bought this book! So cowboyish ranchers, menage, hotness abound? I am so in! Thanks!!
LOL, right? I have to keep a real good list or I'm totally lost. I'm terrible at remembering titles too!
DeleteHope you enjoy it :) It was a new experience for me so really caught my attention. I'm still not quite sure what I think of the m/m part of the relationship and one of the guys being submissive but I'm gonna give that dynamic another try.
Bought it, read it this weekend, loved it! :) I've read books similar to this, with a dom man and a sub/beta man, with a woman in the mix sometimes there's mm, sometimes no. It can be a really good combo if done right! I really liked this one! :) thanks for the reco!
DeleteOh yay! So glad you enjoyed it Liz :) I've got the one I saw on your site on my tbr list and am so ready to check it out. Just have to get through a couple review books first but can't wait :)
