I started the month of with some seriously HOT Reads. Just thinking about them makes me grin :)  The rest of the month my reads were pretty tame though. And it's about to do me in. lol. I'm in desperate need of a steamy read ;) I'd love to hear yall's suggestions so feel free to leave a comment :)

No question. My hottest read for September was Cherise Sinclair's My Liege of Dark Haven. Sweet. Mary. Love this woman's Doms and Xavier was so damn good. From the drool-worthy cover to the last page this one was just scorching hot and sexy as hell. Cherise even managed to make a bit of chemical play (yikes!) kinda hot.

Threatened by university cutbacks, Professor Abigail Bern’s only hope is to publish a provocative research paper--soon. Planning to covertly observe behavior in the notorious Dark Haven BDSM club, she takes a receptionist job. When the owner calls upon her to assist in a demonstration, she’s appalled. Then fascinated. Under the unyielding hands of the master known as my Liege, she discovers a need to be more than an observer.

His late wife had been the center of his life, and Xavier Leduc wants no other. But when his new receptionist does her utmost to keep an emotional distance from him, he’s intrigued and digs deeper. She’s adorable. Intriguingly intelligent, beautifully submissive, sweetly vulnerable. He soon realizes her defenses are keeping her on the fringe of her sexuality--and her life. As he draws her into fuller participation, she unconsciously does the same for him. She begins to fill his world.

Ever since the night she met my Liege Xavier, Abby has questioned everything she believes about herself. She’s falling for the stern owner of Dark Haven and thinks he’s beginning to care for her...until the day he learns why she’s in his club.

2nd book was Sylvia Day's Seven Years to Sin. Talk about a complete surprise. It was my first Sylvia Day and a historical so I'm thinking it'd be a little steamy, but you know, typical historical. But she seriously blew me away. One of the hottest non-erotica historicals I've picked up.

Seven years ago, on the eve of her wedding, proper Lady Jessica Sheffield witnessed a licentious scene no innocent young miss could imagine. Shocked, yet strangely titillated, she'd held her silence regarding scandalous Alistair Caulfield, and walked down the aisle as expected. But through years of serene, unremarkable marriage, Caulfield's image remained burned into her imagination, fueling very illicit dreams. . .
Alistair ran far from the temptation of the prim debutante with the fire of passion in her eyes—all the way to the West Indies. As a successful merchant, he has little in common with the rakehell youth she knew. But when newly widowed Jessica steps aboard his ship for a transatlantic passage, seven years' worth of denied pleasures are held in check by nothing more than a few layers of silk—and the certainty that surrender will consume them both. . .

What was your favorite steamy September read?
Have you read either of these? Whatch think of em?

    1. OMG wasn't it the best? I so wanted another book of them. I saw that's what inspired her current ones somewhere I think. Still need to pick those up.

Cherise Sinclair. She is just...amazing :) Both of her series kick ass. You're reading Kally now right? I think you'll love Cherise if you're enjoying her. The two seem to be pretty friendly and rec each others books.
