Oh my goodness this is my herd this week!
They've joined forces to drive their momma up a wall.
Herd baby Gladys, especially, has decided it is her mission in life to "help" me on the laptop by dramatically tossing herself across the keyboard and accidentally deleting entire posts I'm working on.
I luvs her! ;)

If yall haven't seen this yet...we had a follower send us the link to Miss Mousie's page last week. She's a sweet older kitty being fostered up in Washington that's in need of surgery. There's a bunch of authors and their kitties posts supporting her cause. It's a non-profit as well. So go check her out. She's a darling girl and just had her birthday :)
This is my first visit. When I read your Blog title, I had to come. I have a herding cat situation, slightly different than yours, but herding just the same. My Mini Aussie herds my cats to the kitchen at every meal time. The alpha cat has learned that he can herd her back so it is a battle of the wills until the first can is opened, then it's each cat/dog for themselves. I can also relate to your post ... oh yes. Been there, done that too many times I'm afraid. Thanks for a delightful start of my day.

Oh my goodness Andrea that is too funny! I've heard about Aussie's doing things like that with their people but never kitties. Love it :) And good for Alpha Cat ;)
DeleteHope you're having a great rest of the day!

LOL - Too funny!
ReplyDeleteIsn't he cute? Must know my herd. lol.
DeleteI love this! Great minds think alike ;)
ReplyDeleteI have had herding dogs for many years, though we lost our last to age this year.
So now it the three cats, who herd us!

Oh how funny. My cats haven't taken up herding me they just pretend to let me herd them most days. LOL.
DeleteSo sorry to hear about your pup. It's always so hard to lose them. My two are 11 years old this year. Amazing how the years fly by!
PS...I am following you! ;)
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks! I'm following you too :) Have a great rest of the weekend Ann :)
DeleteThat's so funny about Gladys. Maybe you need to the tech tip from Yvonne's page :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Kate we so need one of those here. My girlie is bound and determined to help me.
DeleteToo cute! They're always wanting something. Alice has become less of an attention seeker since her younger years so I can always tell when she's wanting something because she comes and sits beside me. Little tease!
ReplyDeleteI contacted Miss Mousie's owner to see if she might want to be my guest next week for Authors and their cats on Cat Thursday to tell Miss Mousie's story. I hope she accepts! Thanks for sharing the blog. =O)
Aw I hope you hear from her. I loved all of the authors & their pets. And Miss Mousie is just a darling little thing.
DeleteLove the name Alice for a kitty. Mine almost all have human names as well (middle names too!) What a polite little one she is. Mine are still in their earlier years (4-8 yrs old) and wild as can be. We're not a graceful/polite bunch but they've somehow got a charm about them :)
Have a great week Michelle!
