Tasty Delights--Pecan Rolo Pretzel Snaps

Tasty Delights and Dazzling Disasters is all about playing in the kitchen and having some fun.

I'll share my delights or my disasters. Yall feel free to join in and create your own posts, share your favorite recipes, what have you.

I saw these over on Pinterest I think.
They looked pretty cute and I had the pretzel snaps left over from another
Tasty Tuesday so just had to make them.

Only 3 ingredients :)

One suggestion on these...If you aren't the patient type.
Spend a little extra on the Rolo's that are already unwrapped up near
check out instead of going for the bag.
It's a lot of unwrapping...

Line up your pretzel snaps on a parchment lined pan.
Place a rolo candy in the center of each pretzel.
Bake at 350 degrees for 4-5 minutes.

As soon as you take them out of the oven press a pecan half into each Rolo.
Do this fairly quickly and be careful. They're hot! You don't have to press too hard either.

Nom. Chocolate, caramel, nutty goodness.
These' took less than 10 minutes and made very little mess.
Perfect little snack.

They'd make a nice little gift around the holidays if you packaged them in pretty wrapping.

What do you think?
Have a quick holiday recipe like this? I'd love to hear about em!

    1. Thanks :) I know I love that place. It's so fun to try the different pins out or do little twists on them.

I think the ones up at the checkout that are in a roll are unwrapped. It's been ages since I had those but I thought so. The bagged ones are all individually wrapped unless you do the mini ones which are darling but too small.

  5. I make these every year for Christmas. We call them cheap Turtles b/c they taste like the expensive Turtles candy you find in stores. HA! Everyone loves them. I also do some with Hugs and M&Ms. We love those too. Oh and just the other day I saw some done with Hugs and a piece of candy corn on top. Mmmm Mmmmm

    1. Oh my goodness yes they do taste just like Turtles! I've seen those hugs and kisses ones. Even bought the hugs to make them but keep forgetting the M&Ms. Candy corn sounds...interesting. Love what people come up with :)

  6. Oooh, yum! :) I think I know what I need to add to my shopping list for the week... I hate when I find a wonderful recipe like this, but have none of the ingredients on hand. :( Oh well, only 3 simple ingredients, so I have no excuse after I hit the store!

    Enjoy!

    1. LOL. The guys up at our Kroger know me well. I'm terrible about having all the ingredients I need. I've had to go up there 3 times in a day for once recipe. SMH.

Hope you enjoy them :) I'm planning on grabbing another bag of rolos next time I'm at the store and making another batch :)
