Tasty Tuesday: Peanut Butter Sugar Cookie Cups

Peanut Butter Sugar Cookie Cups

Aren't they cute? Only 15 minutes for a pretty yummy treat!

I know I'm not usually one for store bought goodies but I couldn't help myself :)
Two simple ingredients needed. Sugar cookie dough and Reese's peanut butter cups.

Spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
[You can use liners but they're VERY hard to get off the cookie cup once they cool.]

Cut up cookie dough into chunks that fill tin to the top like above.
Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.

The cookie cups should fall slightly in on themselves some like on the right side.
If not thunk the tray lightly when putting it down.

Press a Reese's mini peanut butter cup into each cookie until the top is even.

The Reese's peanut butter cups will melt into the cookie cup. Mmmm.

These are small since I used the mini muffin tin but really they're the perfect little bite of yum.

Aren't these cute? Do you have a favorite quick and easy treat?

Peanut Butter Sugar Cookie Cups Recipe

1 container store bought sugar cookie dough
1 bag of mini-Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Slice cookie dough into layers that are as deep as your muffin tin. Then quarter the slices
  • Spray muffin tin with cooking spray
  • Add a chunk of cookie dough into each spot
  • Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes
  • Bang slightly when putting tray on counter
  • Press one peanut butter cup into each cookie cup until level with the top of the cup
  • Remove from muffin tin and let cool
Makes about 30 cookie cups, total time 20 minutes

    1. Oh how fun. I never took classes like that (I was a band geek so that took up my extra class options). I would have LOVED that. Next time I'm going to try a little whipped cream and some fruit I think. Perfect bite sized dessert :)

      Thanks for coming by Tina!

  2. Yum and so easy! I spent too much time last Saturday chopping up an extra bag of peanut butter cups to add to my cookie dough when I could've just done this. Thanks for posting. I can't wait to try them out on the kiddies this weekend.

    1. Oooo now that sounds good too! I've never put candy (other than chocolate chips) in my cookie dough. I have definitely been missing out!

Hope you enjoy these. They were a big hit with the guys and gals at the USO last night. Just really, don't use the cupcake liners. Those were HARD to get off. A bit of cookie spray in the tin worked much nicer :)

    1. Bwhaha. I had to get these suckers out of my house FAST. They're so little you can't help but want to pop one in your mouth every time you go by. I had a couple then left them at the USO. Worked out rather nicely except I want one *bad* right now. LOL.

  7. Oh my. So not fair, I've been *dying* for chocolate the last few days, but I've had none in the house. *cries* Today is grocery shopping, finally, so I'm definitely going to pick some up--along with some sugar cookie dough and PB cups!

    Enjoy!
