AFTH w/ Nancy Herkness-- Naughty Billionaires’ Wish List for Santa

Earlier this summer I was asked to be a judge for a writing contest and one of the books I was sent was the first in Nancy Herkness's series.

I'd been having a reading struggle at the time and picked hers up and just adored it.

The writing was easy and swept me away and I was seriously smitten with the series trope--three guys who meet and they make a bet. The bet? Finding "the one" and falling in love. Yes. These guys are betting on finding their true loves and getting their happily ever afters. How freaking cute is that? Seriously!

Nancy's gonna take over today and share some fun...what her heroes would put on their Christmas Wishlist to Santa. Yall have a good time with her then hit those comments! ~anna

In my Wager of Hearts series, my billionaires make love in some interesting locales that only the very wealthy can take advantage of. Since Santa doesn’t discriminate between rich (even very, very rich) and poor, it seemed appropriate to share the list, in case some other billionaires need ideas for gifts conducive to, um, getting in the mood…and I don’t mean the holiday mood.
1. Rolls-Royce limousine. Nathan and Chloe (THE CEO BUYS IN) find the leather seats and smooth suspension very stimulating.
2. In-home gym. Luke and Miranda (THE ALL-STAR ANTES UP) come up with some creative uses for a massage table and a weight bench.
3. Manhattan penthouse terrace. Liam and Frankie (THE IRISHMAN’S CHRISTMAS GAMBLE) don’t let the winter cold stop them from getting some fresh air and exercise of the, er, intimate variety.
4. Indoor swimming pool. Gavin and Allie (THE VIP DOUBLES DOWN, pub date: April 2017) discover that skinny-dipping leads to other interesting activities.
5. Private jet. Nathan and Chloe join the mile-high club on a trip to Maine to dine on fresh lobster. They never make it past the oyster appetizer.

6. Bentley limousine. Sometimes a Rolls just won’t do, so Gavin and Allie recreate the famous scene in Titanic in a different automobile.
7. Suite at the Ritz-Carlton. Luke and Miranda enjoy a private dinner before they satisfy a whole different appetite.
May your holidays be joyous and just a little bit naughty! Santa won’t hold it against you.

“No strings, no rings.” That’s Luke Archer’s motto. As the champion quarterback for the New York Empire—not to mention a self-made billionaire—Luke has given up on serious relationships. Women only want him for one thing: the thrill of being with a superstar. And he likes it that way too. But when his best friend announces he’s retiring from football to spend time with his wife and kids, Luke feels like he’s missing out on something much bigger than his career.

The assistant concierge in Luke’s luxury high-rise, Miranda Tate fled her family’s dairy farm to come to the bright lights of New York City. She works hard to move up and sends her spare earnings home to her brother. When she and Luke meet, there’s an instant sexual attraction which turns steamy quickly, but they’re in completely different leagues. Could Miranda be just the woman Luke needs to win the most important game of his life?

Nancy graduated from Princeton University where she majored in English. In addition to her academic work in literature, she was accepted into Princeton's creative writing program, and her senior thesis was a volume of original poetry.
After graduating, Nancy had a varied career which included retail management and buying, COBOL programming, computer systems sales and marketing, and a brief stint as a receptionist at a dental office. Once her children were in school full-time, she sat down and wrote A Bridge to Love, her first romance novel to be published.
A native of West Virginia, Nancy now lives in suburban New Jersey with her husband, two mismatched dogs, and an elderly cat. She cheers loudly for the New Jersey Devils hockey team.
