Yeah, so I'd totally be a Reckless Beat groupie. Not even a little bit ashamed. I'd do very very bad things for these guys *swoons* Passionate Addiction gave me the good rockstar fix I was jonesing for and was just a damn fun romance as Blake and Gabi feel out their kinda weird relationship...

See, when things kick off these two know each other. Really know each other. They're best friends. Each secretly in love with the other. And yet...they've never met in real life. Years earlier Blake was in desperate need of help and stumbled into a chat room where Gabi reached out to him and well one things led to another and the two became bffs even though oceans separated them. But all that's changing with one surprise appearance and some seriously awkward little moments...

"You're the strongest man I know." She cupped his cheek ad tried to convey her sincerity with the gentle touch. He gave a derisive laugh, and she ignored it. "And I thank you for everything you've done for me. I could't ask for a better..." Friend seemed inappropriate seeing as though they'd been groping each other for the last fifteen minutes.

He smirked. "The whole feverish lust and raging erection kinda puts a new spin on our friendship, doesn't it?"

"Yeah, it kinda does." Happiness overwhelmed her, making her giddy.

I really loved Blake and Gabi. They're sexy and funny and just sweet together. And they're both great characters to get to know. And yes, the whole musician thing...totally hot. Whew! I didn't always like Blake's decisions--he's sporting some heavy insecurities over his addiction--but really he was a great guy. It was one of the things that had me loving Gabi so much though--she was always there supporting him and telling him how great he was even if he couldn't see it. She was really just a great heroine. Total chick love.

One of the things I love most about this series so far is that Summers totally makes me feel what the characters are going through. You smile with them, you cry with them, when things are *crickets chirping* awkward in their lives, dear lord, it is uncomfortable to read and when things heat up, hell yeah, it has you squirming too. Really makes for some entertaining reading.

All in all, I'm totally falling for this group of rockers more and more with each book. From the stellar romances to the band as a whole and how important they are to each other it's just impossible not to be a bit smitten. Summers definitely sparked my interest in all of the remaining guys and I swear I can't decide whose book I want the most. The woman really must. write. faster. LOL
