August was a busy month around here. Lots happened at home and with herd. It was a pretty decent month though, yall, I am DONE with this heat and humidity. DONE. Bring on the fall! Please! lol
Home Stuff
- I got a new car! Took me 4+ months to find her but the Tahoe now has a sister.
- Cleo got the all clear from her surgeon! She's like 74 days post open chest surgery now. Still not 100% but we're like 90% back to normal and I'll take it!
- I turned...old. lol Yeah, Aug is my birthday month so it's a new year of me. *flails* I've been going crazy getting all the birthday freebies, though. Yay!
- I have a new brother named Jim the Boy. He showed up on mom's porch during a bad storm and looks to be staying.
- I've been tackling small areas of the yard. Currently working on the mailbox area and it's doing great!
Blog Stuff
- I'm just taking it easy. I'm reading, I'm doing some light blogging.
- I'm taking about half the month off from posting which is working for my mood right now
- Hardly taking review books and okay with that. It's been a nice change after 6 years of doing 95+% review copies. Now like 1-2 a month and that's it.
- I had some author issues in August. It was stupid. I'm tired of authors and their attitudes/drama. I really wish the writer/reader community would go back to how it was 4+ years ago. Whew!
- I have a bujo folder!! If you want to see ALL of my bujo spreads since I started go HERE.
