[memes] Series That Should Merge! + my reading week + thin skinned authors

I wanted to meme. And only had one weekly post to do it. So there's a whole lotta memeage happening in this post. You might have to scroll down a bit to get the one you're looking for. 😸

The Awesome:

I got to have breakfast with a good reader friend. Ro and I met up and visited for a few hours. Always a blast.

I did some volunteer work at the food pantry. And the girls are holding steady. Cleo is on some strong antibiotics in hopes her nose will clear up. Thinking that might be what's had her feeling poorly this past week. So far so good!

The Sucky:

An author with thin skin decided to call me out on Facebook and send her readers (I used to be one of them) over to Goodreads to vote reviews up so my review would be bumped off the main page. Then when I replied to rude comments by her readers she and her fan girls decided to try and flag my account for being hateful. So. That was fun. And the big spoiler I didn't "hide" was a main storyline in the previous book so there's no reason I need to hide it in my review.

Snowed in with the Cowboy was fun and slight taboo since step siblings. I love those snowed in storylines.

Family Jewels was a re-read and I had a great time. Fab mysteries/characters.

I Love This Bar was a bore. It took me for freaking ever to finish. I didn't hate it but it should have been edited down to half the size.

Fatal Frost was SO much fun. Fantastic audio and entertaining storyline of women being poisoned in the town.

Not sure yet. I finished 2 late on Thursday so need to decide

I'm not super excited for this one but it was my Prime freebie. Picked it up because someone had given it a bad review.

And So We Sing: Have Mercy
Cooper's Charm by Lori Foster

Books I'd Mash Together (that would make an epic story if combined)

Ahhhh! Two of my favoritest series. Robb's In Death and Loren's Loving on the Edge. I would LOVE to see how these two would mash together. Seeing Roarke get a little kinky? Yes, please! lol

Briggs' Mercy Thompson and Andrews' Kate Daniels. These two would be interesting, I think. I'd be curious how the main couples would take each other.

Question: Have you ever had a bookish, nocturnal dream?
A: Well I've had dreams influenced by what I read but none that I remember any specifics about. I sure wouldn't mind, though, having a dream with any of the heroes mentioned above featured in them 😉
