
Alright so this past week. The Food Pantry was crazy busy. We didn't stop for the entire 3 hours and I was dang tired by the time I got to go home. But it wasn't a bad day.
The USO was decent busy, too. Had my regular guys and a sub join us. The guys are a hoot.
Other than that it rained (yay!) and I did a bunch of gardening. It's coming along and transition is going great so far. I also found a baby cantaloupe! Pretty exciting. I'm letting some of the plants get a little wild which is kind of fun. [pics from this week] I went to our town's art festival, too. I didn't buy anything but was a nice walk about.
I think that's about it.


Summer Heat-- took me most of the week. These two. I didn't hate them but damn I was glad they took each other out of the dating/gene pool and weren't gonna hit it twice. Bless their nutty hearts.
A Twist of the Tail-- the heroine just bought an inn and one of her first guests? Good and dead at the bottom of a staircase. It was fun. Light and easy but fairly simple to figure out.

I started A Ghostly Undertaking. Not bad so far. The heroine is an undertaker and after getting a smack on the head now sees dead people. The editing so far is MUCH better than her other series.

AND FOOD
Made a veggies (from the garden) and hummus bagel with a side of sauted beans/eggplant/potato from the garden. So good!
I went sunrise watching with KellyCat and we took a bowl of breakfast snacks. Plus a super exciting (ha!) sub and chips from the grocery store. It had been a LONG day and there was a sale ;)

- SWAT series by Paige Tyler-- I have them in e-arcs but would love print because yummy covers!

Question: Have you ever enjoyed the same book in two or more formats?
A: Yes. Most of the audiobooks I do are books I've read either in ebook or print. Most notable favorites are the Mercy Thompson series. Great in print. Great in audio!
