Yummy, muffins. I love muffins. So does Elizabeth in Yours, For Now. Her favorite is blueberry. 

I'm so a BDSM fan but I don't think I've read one with quite the set up of Preston and Elizabeth. Can you tell us a little about the two and how they ended up in their unique situation?

Elizabeth and Preston have been friends for years. Both are attracted to one another but are fighting to keep their relationship platonic. Finally, Elizabeth has had enough. She figures the best way to get over this insane attraction she has for her best friend is to have wild steamy sex with him. So she pops the question, “Would you like to try BDSM with me?” Of course, his answer is yes. What single man wouldn’t say yes....right?


Well, they develop rules from the beginning which is a must for any good BDSM relationship to work. Elizabeth gets to be in charge for two weeks and then Preston gets his chance to be in charge. After one month they will smoothly transition back into being just friends. Yeah, right! As if one month could ever be enough for these two. After her two weeks as his Domme is over Elizabeth realizes that she needs more than wild head-board banging sex from Preston, she needs his love. So she ends their agreement, not giving him a chance to be in charge.

But of course sexy Dr. Preston Lancaster is not having that. However, he’s no longer fighting for two weeks of Dominance; he’s now fighting for the heart of the woman he loves. How can any woman resist a man that can make her feel like she’s floating while she’s handcuffed to the bed?

What was your favorite moment between Preston and Elizabeth?

Oooh, the kitchen scene. That scene is one of my favorite scenes in the book.

Can you tell us 3 fun behind the scenes facts about Yours, For Now? 

1. Preston nearly chokes to death when Elizabeth does pop the question. Never ask a man to be your sub while he’s drinking his beverage.
2. Preston is so hot...Elizabeth nearly stuffs herself into a refrigerator to cool down. 
3. Preston learned the hard way to never piss a woman off while you are naked. You may end up hopping butt-naked around the living room, holding your foot while the front door is wide open for all to see. 

When you're not cooking up super sexy steamy reads what kinds of things keep you busy?

I’m usually busy at work. I work as a Clinical Lab Tech full time. On my off days the hubby and I usually cuddle on the couch and watch horror movies.

Yours, For Now was a nice little read. It's not quite what I'd call BDSM though. More, um, BDSM for vanilla people, so BDSM-lite? LOL Think bedplay power exchange, not lifestyle. I enjoyed it overall. Elizabeth and Preston have been best friends for years and you can really tell. They have a great flow between them when they're talking and are just make you smile cute. They've both secretly been crushing on the other this whole time but not wanting to risk their friendship until Elizabeth puts an interesting offer out on the table and Preston is all over it-- one month of kinky nekkid time playing together.

Preston was too cute (and pretty sexy) and my favorite thing about the novella. I love a smitten man and one that will do anything for his woman. Elizabeth wasn't bad. She's dealing with a traumatic past and trying so hard but some of her reactions were pretty frustrating to me but sort of understandable given her past.

There were a couple spots I thought the writing could be a little tighter but, all in all, Yours, For Now was an enjoyable friends to lovers tale that gets a bit steamy--again not really BDSM at all and will probably make BDSM readers cringe a little--and has some added drama and excitement that plays in the background of their romance.
