#AFTH2014--Interview w/ Joanna Wylde--killer shot glasses, the best dirty words & Kylie Scott? + giveaway

Alright yall! Today we've got Joanna Wylde stopping by for a visit. If you've not read her...you must! She writes some seriously kick ass motorcycle club romances. Anywho. Check out our chat and leave Joanna some comment love!

Hey Joanna! Welcome to the...madness. The herd, well, they go a little insane over Christmas and they're still on a bit of a kitty-high over it all. ::snort:: Figured snacks and some shots would be good for a chat about your guys. *picks up a skull shot glass* aren't these just the damn cutest things?!

Alright *downs her skull shot* Reese and London. *whew!* I'd been dying for this man's book and Sweet Mary! So good! Can you tell us 3 fun/sexy/crazy/interesting behind the scenes facts about their book?
Um, I’ll try. London’s character is based on a friend of mine, Betty, who owns a cleaning service. Before I started writing the book she and I got together one day and shared a few beers while she told me some of the crazier stories of things she’s seen over the years. I couldn’t use most of them in the book, but it definitely gave me a feel for her life that I think translated into the book pretty well.
I'm a total quote-whore. Not even gonna lie. What was your favorite omg-make-the-panties-melt quote from Reese? Or one that just made you bust out laughing?
I love seeing what quotes people pick out when they read the books, because I’m so involved in writing them that they don’t leap out to me at all. I don’t have a favorite quote because I don’t see it that way. I do find that what people tend to fixate on in books is usually a total surprise to me. Maybe you should share a quote, seeing as I don’t have any idea how to answer this, LOL.
Well sure! Two of my favorites...
"Drink up, bitches! If God wanted us sober, he wouldn't have made shot glasses so cute!"
 and
"You know damn well I'll lose face if they think I can't control my woman. It's not the same thing."

The instant I said it, I knew I'd fucked up. Again. Christ, I should just crawl into a cave and die, it'd be more efficient.

"You want to try saying that a different way?" she asked, putting her hands on her hips. "Only this time, listen to your words very carefully in your head first. Then ask yourself whether you ever want me touching your penis again."

"I'm a dick," I said, raising my hand to run it through my hair. This is not a secret. But I don't want to control you, Em. You know that. Fuck."

*smiles* I just love these ladies. lol

Alright, if you could spend the day with any of your guys (or gals) who would you pick and what kind of badassery would yall get up to?
Probably Em and Kit. I’m assuming we’d get drunk together, and then maybe go set a fire.
*nods* Sounds about right. lol If you could sneak into any book (yours or someone else's) which one would you just have a fangirl moment over being a character in?
Hmmm… I’ll go with Star Wars fanfic, preferably something that features Han Solo.
Fruitcake--friend or foe?
Foe. That shit is NOT food.
Favorite dirty word?
Fuck. It just works in so many situations, you know?
I'm completely freaked out by?
Snakes. Snakes and Kylie Scott. ----->

Favorite holiday tradition?
I really love opening presents on Christmas morning. We take a long time, and we put a lot of thought into what we give each other. Quite a few of them are joke gifts or even tricks. One time I wrapped up a watch for my brother in a giant package shaped like a frying pan. I love it :)
::snort:: Nicely done, Joanna. Nicely done. lol Alright before you head out....what's up next for you?
I’m working on the second book in my new Silver Valley series. Unlike the Reapers series, these books are based around a location rather than a specific club. I’m still writing some biker stories, but I’m also really enjoying spreading my wings a bit and exploring some other stories, too. I can’t wait to share the first of them, Silver Bastard. It will be out on April 7, 2015.
Oooo can't wait! Thanks so much for dropping in Joanna! Hope yall had a fab Christmas and New Years is a good one! Alright chicklets! Yalls turn. IF you've got questions or comments for Joanna leave them down below :)

As Reapers Motorcycle Club president, Reese “Picnic” Hayes has given his entire life to the club. After losing his wife, he knew he’d never love another woman. And with two daughters to raise and a club to manage, that was just fine with him. These days, Reese keeps his relationships free and easy—he definitely doesn’t want to waste his time on a glorified cleaning lady like London Armstrong.

Too bad he’s completely obsessed with her.

Besides running her own business, London’s got her junkie cousin’s daughter to look after—a more reckless than average eighteen-year-old. Sure she’s attracted to the Reapers’ president, but she’s not stupid. Reese Hayes is a criminal and a thug. But when her young cousin gets caught up with a ruthless drug cartel, Reese might be the only man who can help her. Now London has to make the hardest decision of her life—how far will she go to save her family?
