Yall! This hop! I love it! Romance is my favorite genre... obviously. lol But I'm still fairly new to the genre. I didn't start until 2011 but man I was hooked!
I started more with urban fantasy that had some light romance storylines and then...then Roarke and Dallas happened. Do you know Roake and Dallas? Holy cow and geez. Those two! Best series and best hero/heroine. Romance, secondary characters. Mystery. Pretty much best anything and everything. lol

If you haven't met them, well, you're seriously missing out. They're set in the future in NYC and the heroine is a police lieutenant that's so not into anything girlie or social. Her husband? Ehh...he kinda skirts the line of naughty and, well, naughtier. Crazy rich, crazy sexy, Irish accent *swoon* and lending his many skills to helping her. The mysteries are excellent and the romance just damn incredible. It's like 45+ books in at this point (plus novellas) and still knock out excellent.
So. They hooked me right good.
