I wanted to meme. And only had one weekly post to do it. So there's a whole lotta memeage happening in this post. You might have to scroll down a bit to get the one you're looking for. 😸
This week. Whew. I swear May has come in swinging for real. lol Home life was pretty crazy with all kinds of things and my reading/blogging went light to make up for it. But we made it through so, whew, all is good. lol
It was a slow week. Not the book's fault but just life getting in the way.
Bluegrass Undercover wound up being book 4 in a multi series series. So I went back to the original series and am reading how it all started with Bluegrass State of Mind-- it's currently free and pretty good!
I picked up a couple of the Cocky books this week.
A light week on the blog. I rescheduled posts so it would be quieter for me.
The Bohemian and the Businessman by Katy Regnery
The Other Lady Vanishes by Amanda Quick

Top Ten: Books I Hated but Am Really Glad I Read Loved One of the Characters
Well. Nope. There are none I hated but am glad I read. If I hated a book I'm pissed it wasted my time. lol
But there are books I hated where I LOVED one of the characters and really wished they'd get a second go of finding an HEA.

I think that's it for me. It was heroines that I seriously disliked and wanted a horse to fall on in all of them but the Bliss where it was the hero (shocker!).
The guys in the other books were amazing men and Bliss's heroine was pretty fab. They all deserved WAY better. I'm just assuming these are all "starter marriages" and something will happen and they'll end up widowed and getting a second chance at finding someone better :)

Question: Could you ever pick a favorite book or is it like choosing your favorite child?
A: Oh yes. I'm sure I could. If I could literally only pick one book forever I'd go with Lover Awakened because Zsadist is just everything. I'd prefer to pick a favorite for each genre, though, because they're all so different.
