[memes] Bookish Worlds I SO Don't Wanna Live In + my week in books

**If there's something screwy on the blog...sorry! Doing a secure http and the whole EU regulation thing have given some things a little glitch. Hang in there for me!**

I wanted to meme. And only had one weekly post to do it. So there's a whole lotta memeage happening in this post. You might have to scroll down a bit to get the one you're looking for. 😸

Oh my word, yall. The tired. We have it. lol The two girls have been keeping me busy with their medical. We're doing the whole one step forward two back dance right now. But they're holding strong and being such good girls about everything. I'll deal with the loss of sleep if they can deal with everything else.

In other stuff. The Tahoe passed her state inspections and has been patched so I have time to find the new car. I'm getting closer but still not the right one. Soon hopefully.

And I taught my first couponing class! It went well and I think a couple of the ladies will get really into it. I hope so at least. It had me so nervous but turned out to be a lot of fun :) Other than that reading, house hold stuff-ing and not much blogging. I just needed a little more quiet time on the blog so re-scheduled a lot of stuff into June again. I have no regrets. lol

It was a decent reading week! I managed to not take on any for review. Woo!

A decent reading week. I've been loving the Lucky Harbor ones. Once in a Lifetime was interesting. A former "mean girl" righting all her wrongs years later. It was good.

And I tried out RaeAnne Thayne. They were okay. I might try a different series of hers. I liked them well enough but Woodrose Mountain made me real mad with one element.

Doing some more Shalvis. It's in His Kiss is good so far. This trilogy is on a group of guys who own a boating company and do all sorts of watery things while looking all lickable. The heroine is a jingle writer.

I bought a bunch of ebook freebies.

And two Audiobooks that were free as well

Good Girls Don't Date Rock Stars by Codi Gary-- HATED IT!

hosted by: That Artsy Reader Girl

Top Six: Bookish Worlds I’d Never Want to Live In...

The Outlaws series by Elle Kennedy-- I mean, all the sex would be fabulous but I would not do well in this gritty apocalyptic world. I like AC, hot showers and a comfy bed way too much.

The Great Library series by Rachel Caine-- omg I love this series but I would die. I would die so fast it's not even funny.

Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews-- again...I would die real fast.

The Mackenzies series by Jennifer Ashley-- amazing reads but I don't think I could handle the grit from back then.

Sin Brothers series by Rebecca Zanetti -- *hangs head* I would like to avoid the whole me dying bit.

Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine-- yeah my mouth would get me in trouble and then I would die. lol

Yall seeing a pattern here? Ha!

Question: Do you remember the first book you read by yourself?
A: Not even a little. lol I wasn't a huge fan of reading growing up. But the first I remember that had me falling in love with reading was One for the Money by Janet Evanovich. It was so silly and over the top and then there was Ranger and I was hooked.
