[memes] Favorite Hero Names? + my bookish happenings

I wanted to meme. And only had one weekly post to do it. So there's a whole lotta memeage happening in this post. You might have to scroll down a bit to get the one you're looking for. 😸

In herd/house/blog news. It's been a long stressful week but we're hanging in there. I'm still trying to find a new SUV and then all the things happened. Two of the herd babes are pretty sick so we've had vet appointments out the nose, emergency surgery and now one of them tube feeding every 2 hours round the clock. [ETA we're now up to every 4 hours feeding after our vet visit this morning! Yay!]

So...blogging has been on the back burner and so has pretty much everything else. The girls are hanging in there, though. They are such dang troopers. I'm just tired. But we're doing okay :) And I've gotten a lot of reading done because of all the wait and see and hover and vet visits. lol

  • Bluegrass State of Mind was fun. A horse racing farm and the Kentucky Derby. A little suspense. It did need some editing, though.
  • A Virgin River Christmas is one of my all time favorites and a re-read. Damn good 2nd time around, too. Beauty and the Beast, a heroine in search of her husband's rescuer (and best friend) a year after he passed away. It gives ALL the feels.
  • And I'm binge reading the second half of Lucky Harbor by Jill Shalvis. I LOVED the first 6 but then for some reason couldn't get myself to finish the last 6. So now I am. And I'm a happy reader girl. lol

I started this one yesterday and so far so good! The heroine is renovating an old bookstore. yay!

I picked up a few freebies.

Melt for You (Slow Burn #2) by J.T. Geissinger

Sometimes it's function over pretty. With two sick herd babes I needed a time tracker for meds/feedings and I didn't have time or desire to do an artistic layout so plain and simple and doing it's job. Yay bujo!

4. Adam
5. Nathan(iel)/Nate
6. Ian
7. Luke
8. Sawyer
9. Benjamin/Ben/Bennett
10. Ranger

Question: What were your worst movies based off of books?
A: I don't watch too many adaptations. The ones recently have been via PassionFlix and man those are really not fabulous. I've been fairly disappointed in them so far.
