[memes] Most Anticipated Reads of 2019 + my reader week!

I wanted to meme. And only had one weekly post to do it. So there's a whole lotta memeage happening in this post. You might have to scroll down a bit to get the one you're looking for. 😸

Woo! Last bit of 2018 and first bit of 2019 has been a whirlwind. A good one, though. It's been busy on all fronts.

Home Front
  • I've been doing...all the things. ALL THE THINGS. End of the year got me motivated. Paperwork, finances, organizing, getting all my ducks in a row.
  • The herd is all hanging in there and doing well. Yay!
  • I'm excited for 2019. I'm doing a lot of changes this year and getting healthy. So far 4 days in I've met all my goals. Including 10,000 steps a day. Which for someone who works at home on the computer is huge. I know it's just 4 days in but I'm feeling good about it all. Yay me! lol

Blog Front
  • The blog turned 7 years old on the 1st!
  • I put in a new theme. I've been told it looks like a 30 year old couch but eh I like it so. lol
  • I was a reading machine! I hit 200 books for 2018 and am doing good so far this year. I ended it with a bunch of fun shorter reads and had a great time with them.
  • I'm trying to decide how to do these meme posts. I know this gets long and people are coming for 5 different memes to one post. Do you hate that? If I break it down it'll likely be my week in books/week update in one post then top ten/book blogger in another. But I just don't know yet.

So. Yeah. I read ALL the things. lol Seriously. A couple were super short, others midrange and a couple full length ones. I enjoyed all of them but Merry Me. It made me a bit mad.

Decided to finish up this series. I'm enjoying it. The characters are something else. Lord they're a handful! lol

I won an ecopy of Heaven Enough by Ken La Salle via Sherry's blog. It sounds interesting!
Thank you, both!

Most Anticipated Reads for 2019
Since both hops asked similar questions this week I figured I'd combine them.

Such an interesting question now that I'm not taking review requests for new releases. I went over go goodreads and literally the only 3 books on my shelf that I'm anticipating for the first 6 months of the year are...

Yeah. That's all that's on my list. *boggles* Now, I'm sure I'll have others but I'm just not following them like I used to. What I'm looking forward to for the next 6 months is just reading whatever I want. Older books mainly, KU books until Feb when my 3 month 99cent deal ends, looking through the library and what's on my actual shelves. I've been LOVING doing that and not thinking on new releases. Best. Change. Ever.
