Interview w/ Ava Branson-- sexy yacht captains & blush worthy confessions?

Hey Guys! We've got Ava Branson joining us today to talk about her latest release. Yall give her a big welcome and hit those comments!

Mornin' Ava! Welcome to #TheHerd! We're getting hit with a taste of summer heat this week so I'm thinking some iced tea while we chat. How're things on your side of the world?
Things are wonderful in sunny Florida! My youngest is home from college which is confirmed by the increase in food bill and the debris trail. She's easily found. Just follow the empty glasses, food wrappers, hairbrush, earrings, shoes... :) Wouldn't change it for the world!
LOL I do that with the herd though I just follow all of the things they've knocked over. heh Alright, so say you had only 10 seconds to hook someone what would you tell them about Sensuous Seas to bring on a major case of 'grabby hands'?
Wealthy young widow finds her fantasies wrapped up in the hot and sexy yacht captain that works for her. Did I mention hot and sexy? Oh, darlin', he sure is! #notfortheshy #itshotterinthetropics #turnuptheheat
Um. I'd be willing to take on a yacht captain. I sure would. Can you tell us some behind the scenes things about the book?
Have sympathy for Spencer! He's been hot and hard for Stephany since the day they met but kept it completely under wraps until... ;)
Actually, I grew up in a boating family in south Florida and a close family friend was a private yacht captain for the rich and richer. Heard some pretty wild stories and experienced a thing or five as well ;)
What's the first thing that pops into your head about Stephany? What about Spencer?
Stephany had her heart ripped in two far too early in her marriage and she's blindsided by the rush of attraction she suddenly feels for Spencer. Spencer's a strong man who won't step over the line, until she blurs the line completely. Then all bets are off.
Glad she blurred things up a little for him. lol If these two had 24 hours to do...anything or go anywhere what would these two get up to?
Sex. Hungry, unadulterated, no-holds-barred sex. Anywhere, anytime. Doesn't that sound yummy?
That would work for me! lol One secret about each they would totally blush over if everyone knew?
Stephany would die if Spencer knew she checked out his crotch every time they met. Surreptitiously, of course. But Spence wouldn't mind her knowing he'd fantasized about having her legs wrapped around him since day one. He should tell her. Who wouldn't want to know this gorgeous man got an erection every time he thought of her?
Giving him a little ogling. Nice. Alright some quickies. Favorite Man Candy?
OMG, Favorite Man Candy as in singular? Not possible! Check out my Pinterest boards for my Men That Inspire and feast away! Seriously - check them out and you all share with me your favorites. Feel free to send me more because one can never have too much inspiration, right?!
Winter Freeze or Summer Heat?
Renegade that I am, how about Fall?  Living in Florida, I've got summer heat down pat. Lived in Colorado, so I get winter. My happy place is Fall.
Top 3 things on your 2016 "Bucket List"?
1. Learn to love running.
2.  Clean out my garage and attic.  Really, how sad is this that it's on my Bucket List?
3. Back to #1 - I'd dearly love to completely fall in love with exercising and eating nothing but healthy meals. But then the pizza ads run and, well, hell... If ordered correctly, pizza truly can be the perfect food. Dairy, protein, grain, veggies. See?
LOL I have spring cleaning on my 'bucket list' for the year so I get ya. lol If I had to totally start over I'd be a...
Wealthy philanthropist. Or an Author.
I'm completely obsessed with?
HGTV
Best food ever?
I'm half Italian, so pretty much all of that.
Noms. I'd be on board with that. Before we let you escape lol...What's up next for you?
Super excited to be writing a book for Roxanne St. Clair's Kindle World, scheduled to publish this August!
Of fun! Can't wait to see that! Thanks so much for dropping in, Ava!
Thank you for having me, Anna. Happy to be a part of your awesome blog and be invited to play with the Herd! :)

Young, widowed, and wealthy, Stephany Maragos can’t imagine living her life without purpose, so she packs up her three-year-old daughter and moves to the Caribbean to start a new life. With the help of her brother-in-law, she starts a luxury yacht charter business catering to the rich and famous. But it’s her captain that steers his way into her life and her heart, kindling feelings she wasn’t prepared to have.

Captain Spencer Murphy knows a thing or two about loss. Following the untimely death of his wife, he deliberately immerses himself in work, content to keep Evander one of the premiere yachts in the tropics. Until a new boss changes the status quo. Competent, yet with a hint of vulnerability that brings out his protective side, Stephany Maragos captures more than just his dedication to work.

But it’s no longer smooth sailing when a proposed merger with another charter yacht and its larger-than-life owner comes along and threatens to bring more than just business their way. Spencer realizes he knows no boundaries when it comes to the woman who has captivated his heart.

She’s rich, beautiful, and out of his league. At least that’s what he thought. Until one night…

Here are some random facts about me to get the basics out of the way first. I’m a native Floridian, born and raised in south Florida into a boating family.  I love the ocean and everything to do with it, but after being swept off my feet and getting married, I moved to Denver and lived there for a decade. Loved the mountains, the dry climate and city life. The snow? Well, it had its good points…just not during morning rush hour commutes!

The pull of family and water brought me back to Florida where I had two children and decided that motherhood was the most fabulous thing in the world. Except for those few moments when it’s not! But life changed yet again and I took a huge risk and plotted my life in a whole new direction. The stories and characters that had been filling my head for so many years demanded their fair share of attention and I began to write full-time.

Since writing occupies virtually all of my waking thoughts, I no longer cook like I used to. In fact, I’m still holding out hope that the food pyramid has been wrong all these years and carbohydrates are at the top and nachos and pizza are healthier than chicken and broccoli.
