Things Good Girls Don't Do by Codi Gary

Good girls don't steal.
Good girls don't visit sex shops.
Good girls don't have one-night stands.

For Katie Conners, being a good girl just isn't worth it anymore. It used to mean getting the life she always wanted. But that was before she got dumped and her ex got engaged to his rebound. So, after a bad day and one too many mojitos, Katie starts making a list of things a girl like her would never do, not in a million years . . .

As a tattoo artist with a monster motorcycle, Chase Trepasso isn't the kind of guy you bring home to mom and dad.

And when he finds Katie's list in a bar, he's more than happy to help her check off a few items. Especially the ones on the naughtier side . . .

Katie's more than tempted by Chase's offer, as long as they keep things uncomplicated. But as they spend more time together, she may just wind up breaking the most important rule of all: Good girls don't fall in love with bad boys.

Mmm yeah Things Good Girls Don't Do was some nice sexy fun. Good girl Katie needs a little naughty in her life. Bad boy tattoo artist Chase oh so willingly steps in and volunteers to help her knock things off her naughty girl bucket list. Humor, adventures and some really sweet times ensue. Heh. And it was excellent.

Really I just can't say no to a motorcycle riding tattoo artist with a naughty side that can totally rock the scruffy look. Gah. Chase. Is. Fucking. Hot. *whips drool off the kindle* I was loving this hero. Everything about him. He's an artist, successful, fun and playful and has some insecurities about where he comes from which kinda tug at the heart. And he's so perfect for Katie who is sweet and sheltered and just an all around good person if a bit of a push over.

I had such a good time with these two as he brings out a different side of her that her very proper upbringing has always kept a tight lid on. I loved watching Katie grow and blossom right in front of my eyes and get some sass and attitude in her.

Now, the sexy scenes. They were kinda closed door in a round about way. You get some nice yummy recaps after the fact but little actually happens on the page which was kind of disappointing for me. But the relationship in general was fantastic and the sexual tension and lead up to sex was spot on. They just suited each other and fell into each others lives so nicely. There's some great tension and also a bit of a playful side to them.
Snuggling closer, she said, "You know this is really gentlemanly and romantic. Like Rhett carrying Scarlett up the... oof!"

Suddenly she was flying through the air toward the pond. Chase had tossed her in. She took a breath right before she hit the cool water and spluttered to the surface a moment later, yelling, "You cretin!"
There's a lot of time spent dealing with the small town and how they both fit into it. Together and separately. The secondary characters. Yeah. Some of them I wanted to give a thorough thrashing for how negatively they saw Chase and his tattoo parlor. Very closed minded and just, well, jerky. But others I really loved. Katie has a great group of girlfriends--even if one has a momentary and utterly bitchy moment. I liked the women and think they'd be a lot of fun to hang out with. Especially Becca who has a tendency to send sex toys and other goodies home with people. lol

The writing was just as easy as the relationship. It flows, is funny and sweet and just entertaining. It was a one sitting read and definitely has me wanting to pick up more from Gary in the future. Things Good Girls Don't Do is a good make ya smile read that had a nice bit of depth and even managed to make me cry there at the end as two wonderful characters try to figure everything out and fall in love in the process. Can't beat that.
