The Monthly Herd--July-- Florida, Flooring & Reader Woes

Ahhhh so July was a BIG month here. I finally made it home to Florida. It had been 8 years since I'd been home. Gah! It was a quick trip but a lot of fun and my first big train ride (from NC to FL). I did a post about it for yall wanting to see pics.

I've also been doing a LOT around the house. Yes. I'm STILL Spring Cleaning in...July. It's taken on a life of it's own and this coming week I'll be ripping out flooring and bookcases in my bedroom and putting in new ones. A dark floor and over 11 feet of bookcase. Eeps! I'm so excited for it to be done.

Lots of blog happenings, a few stops by the USO, my last sign language class (sobs) since we don't think we'll have enough students for part D. Fingers are still crossed.

I went through a horrible. HORRIBLE. Reader slump. It really wasn't a slump just an I can't sit still to read issue. I was like that with everything, though. I just could not focus this month. So I'm having a freak out on review copies and being behind but starting to catch up again thank goodness. Alright. I think that's it for July. On to August. It's gonna be a busy one.
