So. First off. This series? Totally can read out of order. I started with book 19. Then came to book 4. Totally fine. No worries.
Amazon | Goodreads I had a lot of fun with Tall, Dark & Hungry. It's a bit madcap with the hero and heroine trying to save a wedding of their family/friend and dealing with blunder after blunder after disaster. From wedding favor disasters to finding a new caterer and flowers and on and on. It's rather silly but quite entertaining. As was watching the sassy British heroine fall for our vampire hero. They were cute together. Had some nice heat and laughs and worked well as a team. Both were easy to like and cheer for.
Totally worked. Jeffrey Cummings did a nice job creating distinction between the characters and giving accents where accents were due. The female voices took a little getting used to but not more than a couple chapters and after that I listened to this 9 hour audio in record time. 3ish days? Something like that which is fast for me. He made the silly antics and disasters quite humorous and the steamy scenes which can be a miss on audio for me weren't bad either. I'd listen to him again no problem. I listened on regular 1.0x setting which is slower than I usually listen at but fit his voice and pacing.
