The Gist: A footballer with no idea what he's going to do when his current contract is up. And a coach who's determined to find out. Even if he has to set his daughter to getting friendly with said footballer to do so. If only he knew they'd already hooked up and spent hours doing all sorts of filthy things to one another thinking they'd never see each other again. Oy!
Now. The steam. Holy hot damn. Yeah, these two are ridiculously steamy and will leave a girl jealous as all hell and fanning herself. lol I really did like them as a couple, too. They're fun and have a nice flirty banter. They get each other and even though he's a "huge deal" they do down to earth things like any other couple. It was just fun seeing them together.
My phone buzzes on the cushion beside me seconds before another knock sounds. I grab my phone.
You have two seconds to open the door or I'm putting my clothes on and leaving.Needless to say, I launch myself off the couch, tripping and stumbling on my way to the door. I don't even bother to confirm it's Savannah. I simply jerk the door open and...
Well, she's dressed, so that's a little disappointing. However, she's grinning and that pretty much makes up for it.
As to the drama? Honestly I couldn't be mad at Savannah for her deception. She battled with it and tried her best not to hurt anyone while doing her job. I liked how it was handled even if I wanted to smack some people around now and again over it.
All in all, Bad Business was a delightfully filthy, flirty good time. I'm ready for another of Edward's so called bad boys. I sure am.
Stone: Football is more than a game to me. It’s my calling. Becoming the Dallas Wranglers’ starting quarterback before I retire is a dream come true, but with a few wins under my belt, suddenly everyone wants a piece of me. And even though being in the spotlight has its perks—beautiful women, star treatment, more beautiful women—what really gets me sweating is the watchful gaze of my sexy-as-hell PR coach, Savannah Andrews. The catch? Her father is kind of my boss. . . .
Savannah: In my family, football is big business. When your dad owns an NFL franchise, you learn a thing or two about schmoozing, and from what I can tell, it’s not a skill in Jason Stone’s playbook. Sure, the veteran quarterback is literally larger than life. With broad shoulders, muscles on muscles, and a mouth made for kissing, he may be one of the hottest men in the league—and I should know. I’ve turned down enough players to start my own all-star team. But those guys just wanted to get close to my father. Meanwhile, Stone is getting temptingly close . . . to me.
