Interview w/ Sandy James--frogs, Chris Pine & wait you did what to that turkey?!

When Bethany Rogers's sister dies in combat in Afghanistan, Bethany, a teacher and part-time interior decorator, takes in the nine-month-old daughter her sister left behind. As she struggles with the challenges of raising a young child, she gratefully accepts the help of her fellow Ladies Who Lunch as well as Robert Ashford, her longtime friend and boss at Ashford Homes. Robert is great with kids and has always mentioned wanting a family of his own. Beth soon feels more than gratitude toward her handsome helper, and longs to give in to the growing heat and desire brewing between them. But will loving Robert further complicate her already spinning-out-of-control life? And is he drawn to her, or to the idea of a ready-made family?

*waves madly* Hi Sandy! Welcome to herding cats & burning soup! It's so nice to have you here to chat about the next book in your Ladies Who Lunch series. I have been flipping loving these ladies and their sexy men.
Hi, back at’cha! I’m so happy you’ve invited me to guest on your wonderful blog, and I’ve even happier that you’re enjoying my books so much!
They're really just such fun reads. For our followers who've managed to not see me totally fan girling over these ladies what would you tell them to get them good and hooked if you had, say, only 10 seconds to tell them about Sealing the Deal?

Without friends, where would any of us be? Take four independent, sassy ladies. Add some sexy guys. Stir and... voila! Instant entertainment!
LOL it really is. So...can you tell us 3 fun/sexy behind the scenes facts about the Ladies Who Lunch?
1. Many of the characters are based on my real-life friends.
2. Ben Carpenter in The Bottom Line is modeled after HGTV star Scott Mcgillivray.
3. I’m bringing back some characters from Turning Thirty-Twelve in book four. Any guesses on which ones?
Whoa. Well heeelllloooo Scott! Um...totally distracted now...*shakes head* Focus, Anna, focus! Okay, First thing that pops into your head about Beth?
Beth is the most selfless character I’ve ever written. She puts everyone else before herself and would give the shirt off her back, literally, if you needed it.
Aws I can't wait to get to know her. And what about Robert? *And can I just insert a little girly squee because I have been dying for his book!*
Robert is a sexy forty who doesn’t realize his own appeal. He’s one of those great guys who can build or fix anything, and he’s suddenly tired of playing the field, wondering if there’s something more in life.
From peeks at him he so seems like a great guy! So, say you've got 24 hours with either Beth or Robert. Nothing's off limits. Who would you pick and what would yall get up to?! *waggles eyebrows* ::snort::
That’s tough! Part of me would want to drag Beth on a big shopping spree and buy her all sorts of things she’d never treat herself to. But the other part would want Robert’s undivided attention for the day. Think of all he could do to improve my house. (See, hubby? Keeping my mind out of the gutter for once!)
LOL yeah my mind totally landed in the gutter with this one. Not...even...gonna lie. And sticking to the naughty...

Favorite Man Candy?
Chris Pine. Such an uber-hottie!

Yard gnomes, flamingos or those trees with faces?
None of the above. Frog statues.
Best "burning soup" moment?
I can’t cook. I mean really can’t cook. I think my worst “burning soup” moment was when I tried to roast my first turkey and had no idea there was a bag of innards inside it. Came as a rather rude awakening when we carved that sucker! *bwahaha nice!*
I'm completely freaked out by?
Spiders of every shape and size. They make my skin crawl (if you’ll forgive the pun).
Oh I am with you on that. ::shudders:: Best food ever?
Cheesecake. Yum!
Okay so I'm totally not a cheesecake person--totally violates my these things should never be combined rule--but damn that looks pretty good! Before you head out...what's up next for you?
I’m working like crazy on Danielle’s book, which is the fourth in the Ladies Who Lunch series. Then I have had so many requests for a fourth Safe Havens book. I’m also developing several new projects, so please keep your fingers crossed for me!
Oh definitely crossed! Sounds pretty exciting. I can't wait for Danielle's book! Happy writing Sandy! Alright kittens. Yall feel free to leave Sandy some comment love and any questions you've got for her!
