Kindergarten teacher Sarah Larsen has spent her whole life being the good girl. But now, she’s ready to do something bad. So wearing the shortest, tightest black dress she owns, she marches over to the nearest bar to fulfill her Christmas fantasy: a wild night with a total stranger.
Walker Callahan moved to Silver Creek to start fresh. He doesn’t want to bring his baggage into a relationship, so an evening of fun with the sexiest welcoming committee ever is just what he needs.
They were both in it for one night with no strings attached.. But when Sarah discovers that Walker is the father of her new student, things turn deliciously complicated. Can the cold winter nights thaw two frozen hearts?

Well, now, there's a sexy little Christmas read! Unwrapped...well...Sarah definitely got her fill of being unwrapped that's for sure! By one verra sexy stranger no less. Mmhm. See. Sarah's had an extremely sheltered life and she's ready to break free of that and live a little. Starting with having a wicked wild one night stand with a stranger passing through town. And oh what a night it is! Until she realizes he's the daddy of her newest student! *blinks quickly* Whoops!
Yeah. So. That did pose quite the problem since...ack awkward! And really can't be sleeping with one of the daddies...or your kid's teacher so despite the fabulous chemistry they really ought to resist and avoid starting something up with each other. Not that either really was looking for a relationship you know. She's checking out life for the first time. He's nursing a very hurt heart after his ex did a number on him. So really...
::snort:: I enjoyed these two. Might have wanted to pop him a couple times when homeboy got himself good and panicked over caring for someone again and Sarah was indeed very sheltered but I didn't mind really even with some oh so awkward moments (and some really funny ones too listening in on their inner dialogues). I enjoyed seeing her figure things out and trying new things. And seeing them both dealing with caring for someone. Him trusting again and her having that for the first time in her life since love and caring were two words not associated with her childhood at all.Their only hope was to have sex until they didn't want to anymore. Which, he was dimly aware, was somewhat faulty logic. Convenient, penis-led logic. But dammit, it was the line of logic that got him laid, and he was following it.
The chemistry was definitely there between these two as the holidays bring them even more into each others lives as she takes on the job of watching over his little girl during the winter break. There are some very sweet moments with his little girl, some heart breaking ones as the past is dealt with and oh my word the heat! Yeah. These two could melt snow! Goodness.
My only complaint was with the epilogue which struggled a bit with transitioning and bringing in past characters. It just didn't quite work for me and had me going wait, who are these people?! But! Other than that brief little moment Unwrapped was a lovely little Christmas read full of heat, heart and some rather gigglesnort worthy humor as these two fall when they least expect it. Gotta love that combo.
